I stayed 3 nights. Internet was very bad, and they couldn't fix it. Very noisy in the evening and very early in the morning (around 5.30 already...) Restaurant is also very poor, although I must say the staff was very polite and nice, but could not really face the problems.

Stayed here while attending a conference at KNUST. (about a 30 minute car ride away) The rooms are large and the staff relatively friendly, but little things like no water one morning, the batteries dying in the air conditioning remote, and some items being "put away" (hidden?) in a drawer while others were left alone made this a less than...

stayed at this hotel for one weekend in december 2015 while attending a wedding in kumasi. the staff were friendly and generous but clearly needed more hotel management training. my room was spacious and clean but very basic. now the major problem- the plumbing system in the whole hotel was poorly done! i accidentally flooded my bathroom because i flushed...

I used to stay at Hotel Royal Lamerta, Kumasi, Ghana, but have now found a better place. The Management does not seem to take interest in developing & utilizing the large property. Staff is chilled-out; not professional. Things just happen ... or don't happen. Restaurant offers limited choices. I was not satisfied with the value for the money paid &...

The rooms are comfortable albeit a few issues to be expected when one is used to the average Ghanaian way of doing things. One thing i didn't like was being presented with an A/C remote control with only chinese inscriptions. The environment is serene and the night ambience is also okay, not too far from the central business district of...

We were a volunteer group of 5 people. During our weeklong stay, the service staff was friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to accompany us to a nearby shop to find an item we'd forgotten to pack. The restaurant is clean and has a variety of local and Chinese food courses listed, about 2/3 of which are available any...

If you're accustomed to Ghanaian hotels, you'd file this under Average. The standard room with a double is quite small and they seem to want to fill it with every kind of furniture available. All the facilities in the room "work" but not to expectations. There's always a toothbrush and toothpaste available which is quite rare in average hotels in...

I stayed at the Lamerta Hotel on a trip in July 2014. The hotel is safe and clean. Staff works hard to keep it that way! Wi-fi worked in most areas of hotel. Air conditioning was consistent in the room I was in. The restaurant attempted to have a full menu - but many items on the menu were not...

Was initially put off by other trip advisor reviews but this was a good hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. No problem with our 4 rooms on level 1. Good food in the restaurant, although breakfast was limited and the same everyday until, behold - Cornflakes but the fresh cows milk was off. Pool was clean and with the poolside...
