We had a great stay at Villa Bobo! After long touring days, we enjoyed going for a dip in the pool. The ambiance is very cozy at Villa Bobo and so we felt like we were coming home after a long day out and about. The rooms were very clean and everything was well-prepared for our arrival. We were delighted...

I felt completely at home at Villa Bobo, where all the guests were simpatico and the welcome was warm. The conversations at the breakfast table were interesting and confirmed for us, an anglophone couple, that this is a perfect place to stay in Bobo.

I stayed here for 4 nights with my colleagues and we really enjoyed our stay. Xavier and his team, especially Alice who servers you a wonderful breakfast for home made jams, artisanal bread, fresh juice and fruits, green tea or brewed coffee (a bargain at 2000 FCFA)- are perfect hosts. Located in a neighbourhood not to far from the city...

We had a fantastic experience at Villa Bobo. Please note that we didn't STAY here. They were completely booked so we stayed at Villa Rose instead. We did, however, spend an entire day with the owner, Xavier, and we did visit Villa Bobo that evening for a refreshing beverage and for our 4 and 6 year olds to swim in...

We stayed here for four nights in December 2013 (I'm a bit late with my review) and are so glad we chose it. It is in a very quiet location, comfortable clean room, trust system for drinks, excellent breakfast (best I have had on my travels) with strong coffee, fresh bread and homemade jams, made by Xavier the owner. The...

I'm a student and I stayed there with a friend for 3 weeks. The place is really nice, quiet even though you will see some burkinabé dropping by. The atmosphere made me feel home quickly. What is a real + is Xavier the owner. He lived in Burkina for almost 20 years and knows everything around and further. Basically we...

I stayed with my boyfriend a few nights here and I must say it was a godsend for us. Not only was this place beautiful and well kept, it also had beautiful art on the walls (we even bought one of the pieces!). After being shocked on arrival, we then discovered the next day the beautiful arrangement of homemade jams...

We arrived the first night having never been to Bobo, and having no idea what to expect. We were warmly greeted by Paul, who is the manager when the owner Xavier is away. He even drove out to the Shell station to escort us in because we were so lost and clueless! He is also an encyclopedia of local attractions....

I loved the villa, the relaxed atmosphere, the swimming pool, the people. Also the location was great for me as you could just go out and experience normal life of Burkinabes. Beautiful rooms and all so cosy and private. Hamidou - you did a great job as a host, merci! Unfortunately during my stay Xavier wasn't there. As I made...

Welcoming host and lush green garden in which to enjoy sundowners poolside.  Nice  breakfast on communal table creating opportunities to meet fellow travellers and chat with Xavier, a most knowledgeable host.  It is hard to find but you get to meet lots of locals asking for directions.

Thank graussie
