I turned up mid afternoon and was able to immediately head to the zip line. The guide was very patient and safety was definitely their first priority. A fun experience although be warned about the number of mosquitos.

Tanimboca is just a few miles down the road from Leticia, and yet it offers the feeling of being located on the brink of civilization. Maybe that's because it IS located on the brink of civilization! You can either stay in hammocks or get yourself a real treat and spend a few nights in one of the treehouses. They are...

If this is your first time visiting the Amazonas you should definitely come to Tanimboca, this place is incredible. We reserved a 4 night plan and we were wondered by the service since the first minute we stepped out of the plane, the driver who picked us up was wonderful "Pablito" he took us for a city tour in Leticia...

I loved the experience of staying with nature! The staff is extremely helpful and the night-walk was unforgettable. I only have two complaints: 1: no toilet seat in the bathroom, making for an uncomfortable experience 2: no way to communicate with the staff at night in case of emergency. Perhaps invest in a pair of walkie talkies.

Tanimboca is an unreal, very well kept, incredibly unique reserve and jungle lodge! It is very worth the price, especially for the experience of staying in a tree house suspended 12 Meters above the Amazon rain forest. (Cost for one night in the tree house with breakfast and a night walk with local guide is $120,000 per person) This reserve...

Just came back from a 4 day 3 night package with accommodation in the tree house and Puerto Narino!! What an amazing experience, the facilities are very nice when you think that your room is hanging 14 meters over the amazon rainforest. All the guides were very knowable and made our experience even better. Food was delicious and also catered...

Tanimboca is a beautiful and well-organised reserve where you can get to know the impressive nature of the Amazon. The staff is very friendly and will help you with whatever you want to do (hiking, canopy, kayak), but you can also go for a walk by yourself (12.000 COP). Night walks are definitely recommended, you will see many tarantulas and...

first and foremost, the quality of the staff is to be admired, professional, warm, kind, knowledgeable, funny... Just an awesome bunch of people: Leo and Sara Live in the "main area" of the reserve, the guides, Gildardo, both Joses, Mario, the tocayo Leonardo and of course Carlos the one who speaks english. The cabins, all a hybrid between Amazonian Know-how...

I'll start off by saying that staying in the tree cabin is not for everyone, certainly my wife and daughter would have never done this (they went on a Caribbean cruise instead), but for me and my eight year old son this was a priceless experience. We stayed for three nights at the Tanimboca reserve, the first night they put...
