Me and my boyfriend stayed there just for one night - they guy in the reception didn't bother to talk to us, to give basic info about wifi or breakfast, we only knew it because I was asking him everything. The room didn't have mosquito net, the shower was almost not working, there were bunch of ants in the bed,...

There is not much good that can be said about this place I'm afraid. The room stunk, the toilet didn't flush, there was a lot of mold in the shower and the WIFI was nearly inexistent. Worst of all (certainly in the Amazon region: there was NO mosquito net! It was said that this place had a good location, close...

Simple, clean and secure rooms. Excellent location. Friendly and helpful proprietor. Meals available quite cheaply (if required). Essentially this is a hotel primarily suited to budget travellers and, as such, is to be highly recommended. Leticia itself is an exceedingly pleasant little town and well worth a short visit.

Annoyingly our first encounter with this hostel was 'Jorge of the jungle' he was at the airport, asked our cab driver where we were going then followed us. Turns out he has some agreement with the hotel that if he shows us to our rooms he can tout for his jungle tour business. Annoyed that he'd followed us from the...

We'd been on the Amazon for a few days so we were desperate for a bed and shower. The beds were comfy and clean, the shower was cold but it's a hot jungle so didn't worry us to much. We were in the room close to the reception which I wouldn't recommend if your a light sleeper...but we were so...

We stayed one night. The price was 20,000 pesos per person in a five be dorm. The beds are clean, big and comfortable. TV's and fans in each room. The staff were nice however, washing was extremely expensive but prices were stated. The breakfast was 6,000 per person and consisted of eggs, 3 pieces of toast, fruit, coffee and juice....

We only stayed here one night, passing through to Peru, but the hostel was clean and comfortable with lots of nice outside seating space. Most of the staff were really friendly and helpful. The hostel is situated really near the border with Brazil, but also very near to everything in town.

I really loved Leticia and I didn't expect this level of cleanliness, organization and fasion in such remote part of South America. Hotel Divinio Nino was the best choice based on our budget. I actually compared few hostels/hotels mentioned in lonely planet and Divinio was one of the nicest in price range of 40000 COP. Pros: - Fantastic price /...

This hotel wasn't anything particularly special. The rooms were basic but clean and have a fridge and plenty of fans. The shower in our room didn't get warm but it was usually so hot and humid outside that this didn't really matter. I used Leticia as my base for an Amazon trek so I was back and forth to Leticia...

Ask to see rooms and try the beds before. Most of the mattresses are sagging and will result in uncomfortable night's sleep (Lonely planet guide is right on this occasion). Take the first room above the stairs on your left: good mattress for double bed (didn't try the bunks), good bathroom - shower cold (perfect for the crazy hot weather...
