This is a welcome oasis after an exciting drive from Salta through the stunning Cafayate canyon. The hotel is a little out of town but it is well placed for a visit to a nearby boutique vineyard. We opted for a room with canyon view and it was worth the extra to be able to watch the sun rise across...

This small hotel is charming in an unsophisticated but pleasing way. Set around a courtyard with lovely gardens and swimming pool within yards of the closest vines, it is quiet and restful, with unobtrusive but friendly service. Our room overlooked the vineyard, with deck chairs on the terrace outside. The lounge area is spacious and comfortable - ideal for a...

The Wine Resort was the second of the Cafayate hotels that we stayed at, having stayed at Portal de Santo some days earlier when we had passed through the town the first time. The Wine Resort cost twice as much, but each hotel, in its own way, represented good value for money The Wine Resort is a couple of miles...

The hotel is very well located in the middle of a wineyard. To the city you will have to take a "ripio" road. This means that you will need a car to stay here. The service and breakfast are very good and they have a small but very good restaurant.

Good small hotel set among the vineyards about 3km up a ripio (dirt) road outside Cafayate. The rooms are set around a central patio and many have fine views over the vines and the mountains in the distance. Carefully tended gardens and a small, but cold, pool make this a very pleasant base and a place to relax and unwind....

Set in a stunning valley, surrounded by vineyards, and impressive mountains, this hotel is the perfect base to explore this wine region. While you will need your own transport to get to and from this resort, the effort is worth it. The hotel consists of about 20 rooms, with generous bathrooms and closets, surrounding a central courtyard area. The setting...

We spent a couple of nights here and had an excellent time. The staff were great, the room we had was very clean, had a lot of space and tremendous views from the front windows and balcony, and although we only ate there once the food in the restaurant was great - as was the wine. A couple of kilometers...

This small hotel offers nice bedrooms overlooking the wineyards. The place is great, the location is perfect, the atention is good and the restaurant is very good. I recommend to book the bedrooms with wineyard view, instead of the mountain view. One detail: The place has no TV in the bedrooms, nor spa services. But is really lovely.
