Lovely place in Luderitz very quaint and quirky place, friendly staff and owners who were very helpful. Would definitely go back and stay longer. Barrels pub next door is a blast. Strongest wifi I've ever experienced (my daughters loved it).

Kratzplatz is located very central in the small city of Lüderitz, with 2 minutes walking distance to the tourist office (where owner Marion organizes everything you need) or the museum, 5 minutes to the Felsenkirche or the Goerke House and 10 minutes to the harbour. It is a quiet place with a nice garden. Part of the complex is the...

We "found" this place by accident and it was a very good find. We had a big & bright upstairs room with a nice place outside. The location was within walking distance of 'everything' (Luderitz is a small town) and we just used our car to drive to Agate beach (where you CAN find beautiful agates!) and to drive around...

Kratzplatz is a very well priced, well located B&B. Walking distance to everything. Friendly owners, rooms neat and clean. Barrels a great place to eat a little on the small side but serve good food. Staff always friendly. Secure parking. Free Wi-Fi

The room was very clean with white linen on the beds. We enjoyed all the facilities for self-catering. It was in the town but not noisy and close enough to walk to the middle of town, while our car was safely left in the locked- up yard. A very good deal at R800 per night for 2 people.

The wife and I stayed in Luderitz for one night before departing on a 4x4 trip through the desert. Kratzplatz was a great place to stay, good value for money with very hospitable and friendly owners. Parking inside the yard is a bit crowded. Unfortunately we stayed over on a Saturday night, when they do not serve dinner in their...

Kratzplatz is functional, neat and well priced. Don't expect the best if you are getting a bargain price. Most importantly a clean bedroom, bed and bathroom is all you need and this ticks those boxes. The local pub, Barrels is linked to Kratzplatz, so an easy crawl home. Breakfast is plain but plentiful.

Well run, clean, and friendly near the center of town. Easy check in and out and a great breakfast. Would stay there again. There is a restaurant/bar attached where we had a great pizza dinner. Also, restaurant is PACKED and need to make reservations as there aren't many tables.

A dusty street on Luderitz opens up to the quaintest quirkiest oasis - the warmest people - the very best food. We laughed like horses, ate like kings, slept like babies. We felt so at home, that we were reluctant to leave. This wonderful couple, this wonderful place, has krept deep into our hearts.

We decided to go to Luderitz at short notice and tried to find a place over Easter. Monica not only accommodated us she also made our stay very special. Great rooms. Lively and gemütlich restaurant. Very child friendly and pleasant staff. Luderitz is a great place and staying at Kratz platz added to it.
