We camped at Elephant Sands in 2016 and loved every minute of our stay there. Wish we could have stayed more than one night but will definitely be back in the future. There are so many highlights of our stay from the amazing experience next to the waterhole to the ellies moving freely between our tents. Will always go back!

We arrived just before dinner, due to some issues en-route. Dinner was lovely and staff were very friendly. We moved to the tented sites after dinner- what a disappointment. The rooms are big and leave you with a "cold, unwelcome" feeling. There was still water in the shower... The water never reached more than mildly hot. One of the couples...

We stayed 1 night on our 3 week African G Adventurs tour. Definitely the most comfortable tent experience we encountered on tour. We stayed in the permanent raised tents which were fabulous. Spacious & great bathrooms. The setting is excellent with a waterhole close to the bar/resturant. We had an up-close opportunity to view elephants. Wish we had been able...

We stayed one night at this place on our way to Kasane. After a long drive this place provided a great place to rest. Our tent was clean and comfortable. The shower was unbelievable good considering it was in a tent. We saw a few elephants walk silently to the watering hole after the sun went down. That was fantastic...

We were heading south after three weeks of camping. Elephant Sands is close to the main road, yet has lots of wild life, attracted by a water hole, around which are luxury tents. We ate a buffet dinner in the restaurant and cooked breakfast the next day. Both good Home cooking. Avoid the original rondavel accommodation as it is basic...

Our group booked a campsite at Elephant Sands for a 1 night stopover. The reception staff were grumpy but efficient enough. Campsite has no trees (apparently they were destroyed by elephants over the years). There was no washing up area at the ablutions and the facilities had not been cleaned for some time. Considering this was the most pricey camp...

We stayed in the family safari tents , overlooking the waterhole. After the above average rainfall this year, the Ellies where scarce. They did come visiting the tents at night, but are well behaved 😋. Supper was a fantastic braai. Food was top notch. Lovely setting , next to pool, overlooking waterhole. Really a wonderful place to stop over in...

Elephant Sands is truly the African experience. They have magnificent tented chalets. The food is good. We saw about 10 elephants right in front of the tented chalets, all were trying to get a drink of water at their pumped source.

Used this as a stopover on our way to Kasane for a party of 9. Safari tents were good, clean & not too far from the bar, restaurant & pool area. It is all centred around a drinking hole, as it has been quite wet elephants have alternative places to drink so we only saw 2 elephant, but I have...

Stayed here for one night towards the end of our trip. No welcome drink offered to us or any seats to sit at at reception. I was not too well here ,so didn't see much of the lodge etc. The young ladies were very kind and brought me a flask of hot water and tea etc to make hot drinks...
