As someone firmly glued to my iphone, it was such a welcome relief to put it away and just enjoy the nature of this stunning lake and the lovely tranquility of this little resort. 8 cabins, simple restaurant, lovely people. The fresh fish was perfect. The weather was a relief from the heat/humidity of Vallarta. We didnt need hot water... More

We stayed for two days and non of the whole time we could take a decent hot water shower. I took a look at the boiler and seemed to be OK, but on the other end of the water line we could only get cold water. Even it is supposed to have silence at all times, we where waken at... More

We work and live connected to the internet and cell phones 24/7 and this was the perfect escape! We're not big on camping, and this property to many may seem like you are... NOT! It's a beautiful lakefront cluster of 6 pleasantly appointed casitas, and an outdoor dining area and kitchen. The owner Juan took us out for a tour... More

The whole notion of a cozy house by a lake comes to life at this little hotel, only two hours south of Puerto Vallarta, along the highway to Costalegre. The hotel is ideal for people interested in sports fishing, kayak, swimming, or simply having a relaxing time next to the water. Rincon de la Ceiba is located right on the... More

“The last room called oblisco(?) at the end is the largest single room and has a lovely private balcony overlooking the lake. I wasn't bothered but I would recommend bug spray and snacks since there isn't much to buy in town and the closest big town/oxxo is about 18kms”
