I went with my partner during a tourist week. I transferred half of it to him as a deposit some time before. When I told him I had arrived, he urgently asked me for the other half before entering. The normal room. Girl but normal. The bathroom door had a broken latch, we couldn't get it out. The problem comes from the fact that they had painted the pool right in the tourist area when it was very hot. They used the excuse when the tornado that had caused damage occurred, which we found out was not the case. There we spoke with him asking for a solution since the pool was what did not attract the most, in fact he sent us 7 photos of the inn and in 5 was the pool with a view of the river. As soon as I speak, he gets arrogant and tells us that he will not return the deposit and that we should stay two days and he will return half of it. Which after several disrespects from him we accepted... from there he didn't answer me anything else and deposited me half of what was left. We had already found out in other places like the Posada del Tano that everything was great and there was availability and good treatment but we couldn't help it since he never deposited what was left and he didn't respond badly. I do not recommend it. A pity: the only thing we asked or demanded of him was that he notify that the conditions had changed and then that he fulfill what he promised. Unfortunately he didn't comply!

We decided to start our trip a day early to visit las cañas, but we didn’t know cabin rentals were at least 4 days. After looking we found la posada del barranco. They were closed for maintenance and remodeling, but the owner said that if we didn’t mind the fact that it wasn’t all perfect, we could stay. He took us in and made our day. Place is beautiful and relaxing with an amazing view, great hosts, private balconies and comfy beds. What more can you ask for?

Poor value for money. Room left a lot to be desired. Air conditioning leaking over bed. No tea or coffee available in room. Maybe other rooms were better?? Rather expensive for what was offered. No breakfast and reception hardly attended. Bonus was beautiful view from garden of the water and pool area. Many mosquitoes Beware!!!
