Cecilia's guesthouse was an excellent place to stay in Easter Island. She was a great host, warm and kind, made us feel at home, and was very helpful in settingup activities on the island. Also, everyone on the island (all 3,500 people) seemed to know her! We stayed in the room with a double bed which was perfectly fine. There...

The house is beautiful and off the main streets so it's fairly quite but only 5 minutes from the centre of town. The rooms are in a separate bungalow next to Cecilia's (the owner) house with a fridge, tea and coffee and a porch for dinning at. You get your own key to the bungalow and your room so you...

Great place to stay. We spent 10 days at Taniera, and it was just what we needed with our 2 young children: a garden to play, simple and clean bedrooms, ensuite bathroom and closet, close to all amenities (10 minutes on foot) and close to the Church -Sunday service is a real must!- Breakfast is served on the varanda, there...

We just came back from a truly unique and beautiful trip to Easter Island. We stayed at the wonderful Taniera Guest House for 7 nights. It´s a simple place, but very comfortable, and the best part is that the owner, Cecilia Gundman, makes you feel like a true guest, then a friend. Every morning she appears through her tropical garden...
