Stayed in Vaianny 27.12.12-01.01.13. Was met by Renèe at the airport, very friendly and helpful guy who speaks good english. The recidencial has a great location, the room was pretty basic, but nice and clean. Garden is small, but very nice, the breakfast was great and the athomosphere is laidback. Mostly backpackers, which we were not, but we enjoyed meeting...

No complaints whatsoever, I had a great stay here and would do it again. Rene provided complimentary rides to and from the airport and, upon arrival, a quick orientation tour of the town and an overview of the main sights. There's a nice covered patio area for meals and hanging out with fellow guests and a good kitchen for preparing...

Its been nearly a year since we stayed at Vaianny. I haven't felt as sad to leave a place since I was a child. Joanna, Cecilia and Gloria make this place a truly special place to visit. The rooms are fairly basic but the breakfast and the welcome into johannas own home is what makes the place. Johanna offered to...

Upon my arrival to Easter Island, I was greeted by Johanna at the airport. Residencial Vaianny was a magical place to stay during my 5 days on the Island. Breakfast was served with a smile by seniora Gloria. Coming back to the hostel every evening after touring the island felt like coming home.

my daughter and i were robbed of all our money on the first night at the vaianny. We were in a locked room with the window shut, we had been travelling two nights to get there, so were fairly dead to the world. As easter island is 7 hours behind uk time we had a nightmare two days trying to sort...

Strange robbery. The thief supposedly enter to the room when the "guests were sleeping", pick only one pant were supposedly "have all the money" and went. Very very strange doesn`t it? We gave all the support in police paperwork and offer money if they needed and the tours were for free. We were very concerned about the situation and offer...

I had no problems with my reservation which I made at the last minute on Expedia. I was met my Renee (bearing a lei) and he gave me a brief tour in the early hours of the morning. The breakfast was a highlight - especially when considering food prices on the island and I managed to get through the day...

A trip to Easter Island is always going to be fantastic, but if it's possible, staying at Vaianny made my trip even better. This was my final destination on a six-month trip around South America, and my favourite place to stay, I highly recommend it! I was picked up from the airport (and dropped off there at the end of...

The best of this Hotel is that you can cook your own food, remember that the food in the Rapa Nui is very expensive. I recomend go through Santiago and buy meat and others.....If you go though Lima, there is retrictions for carry food.

Reading the other reviews about the overbooking issues, we were a bit worried, but seeing Cecilia at the airport with our names and garlands in her hands put those worries to rest. The rooms were simple but spacious. They could be a bit cleaner - but I guess you get what you pay for. The breakfast was great but limited...

I booked this place based on on-line reviews and was not disappointed. The owner, Johanna welcomes you at the airport with a sweet smelling lei and a hug. Guests are then driven to the property via key places in town, such as the ATMs, some prime restaurants and tourist information. The property is only about 50m from the main street...
