This guesthouse is conveniently located 3 minutes from "downtown" Hanga Roa, next to Santander bank, only 20 yards across the road from the ocean in a large, well-kept garden. Regrettably, Tadeo passed away July 14, 2012. I remember him as a very kind, friendly and generous man and a gifted artist. The faithful widow, Lili, has converted part of the...

My stay at the TADEO & LILI GUEST HOUSE is a memory I will always cherish. The magic of Easter Island will always be on my mind. I was looking back and was amazed that I never submitted a review on TADEO & LILI even though a couple of years have passed. I corresponded with Lili via e-mail and she...

Tadeo & Lili is one of the first guesthouses on Easter Island, owned by an elderly french lady who moved to the island around 30 years ago. We got picked up at tghe airport, no concerns about that. The little cottages are located at the waterfront (just separated by a little road), and pretty close to the village but nevertheless...

I haven't met Lily but I can say that Tadeo is a quite unpleasant character. I wanted to have a horse riding with him and I have been to their home to get some information. First he wanted me to pay, and after when he had time, he would notify me when he would be available. As I had no...

The location is the clincher!! What a view. The basic cabins are set just back off the road along the coast and the view from the porch looks straight along the coast and the main swimming and surfing beach in town. Lili was very helpful and the cost of staying included a pickup and return to the airport. Our cabin...

I did not stay at this hotel but went to it to organise horse riding with the owner Tadeo. He does not speak much English, so got his wife Lili to help us. She informed us that Tadeo would take us the next morning and that it would be US$70 each. We thought this was expensive but Lili insisted this...

We stayed 2 days at Tadeo and Lili's guest house, due to our other accomadation being full. The guesthouse has a great location, only 5 min walk to town and right on the ocean. The rooms are clean but very basic and each has a small deck on the front. The breakfast is served in a common room and we...

Very clean, well located, reasonably priced b&b owned by a very nice and knowledgeable french woman from France married to a Pascuan from the former royal family. Lili (Liliane) is also a very good and knowledgeable guide. We stayed there 4 nights after leaving a pension we did not like. We really liked this b&b. We also stayed with our...

I stayed 4 nights last January at ''Chez Tadeo & Lili'' and I can say it was a magical & a perfect stay ! It's the best location of the island to stay at. It's the only place where you can see the Ocean, right in front of your window and it's about 2 minutes walk for downtown Hanga Roa,...
