We stayed at Pudu Lodge for 3 nights at the tail end of high season. The accomodations were convenient for hiking as well as town, and were very quiet at that time. I'm not sure how noisy they would be in high- season, as the doors were quite loud when opened & closed, but we had no problem due to...

You visit El Chalten to walk a lot, not to live in the lap of luxury. In that context, the Pudu Lodge is great place to stay, offering the perfect place to relax after a long hike, without any unnecessary frills. It isn't exactly awesome, but it doesn't seem like the alternatives in El Chalten are all that magnificent either....

Light and airy, good sized bedroom and modern bathroom - with bath and shower. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Wide choice of food for breakfast, including fruit, breads and homemade jams. Liked the apples provided in the room on arrival. Re previous comments regarding leaking toilet, we would like to say that we do not understand the comments as we...

We stayed here for 4 nights to do trekking. The hotel was a good base with access to the trails right on your doorstep practically. However the quality of the hotel itself was very poor. We had a toilet leak when we arrived but the staff were very unhelpful, the cleaners just kept putting down rags to soak up the...

The Pudu Lodge was very confortable, warm and peaceful. The location was perfect to start the trekking and also to eat in the nearest restaurant "EL Muro" which is one of the best in Chalten. The village is really great and the Pudu Lodge made our stay even better. Very recomendable

This was a late booking for us as we cancelled a trip to Bariloche and decided to stay an extra day in the El Calafate area. We rented a car and drove to El Chalten and stayed at Pudu Lodge. The hotel is very well located, being the nearest place to the start of the trail to Mount Fitz Roy...

The Hotel is great, great and original design, very confortable rooms and beds. The owner takes care of everything, and he knows very well the town and all the things you can do arround since he`s been a guide for several years. I totaly loved it and would go back there if I happened to be in Chalten again

The Pudu lodge is located near the start of the Sendero Fitz Roy. This means not in the center of town, but very convenient if you want to enjoy the peace and quiet of El Chalten. Still, there is a good bakery just around the corner, where you can buy your picknick for your hike. Also 2 nice restaurants are...

We stayed just one night in El Chalten in late September. We did not have much choice in accomodation since it was a few days before the start of the season (early to mid October). Pudu Lodge is a nice big open entry way with high ceilings, and simply decorated rooms. No complaints about the room, the bathroom was on...

We happened upon Pudu Lodge and I am so happy we did! The price was great and so were their rooms. Probably some of the nicest beds (for that price range) that we'd experienced in a long time. It was also quiet, which is rare in this area as many of the walkers get up early and shout at each...
