We visited The Dragon in August to visit the lovely Crickhowell and stayed for 2 nights. First impressions of this place were excellent. The room was lovely. Really beautiful. Lovely large bathroom, massive bed and the room was a good size too. However the room was above the courtyard to the rear, directly above the kitchen and the window was...

From the warm welcome to the beautiful family room, through to the lovely food at supper and breakfast, we had a great stay here. The inn staff are superb, especially Georgie, who was polite and friendly. Our family room was excellent and well equipped. We would love to return again.

Our room, which was located in the courtyard building, was clean, well appointed but really quite small. Had booked a superior double through the hotel's website but am not quite sure if all superior double rooms are that small. At the time of booking also requested a bottle of prosecco on arrival which was not there waiting for us and...

I live in Crickhowell and occasional dine with family and friends at the Dragon Inn. My cousin visited us on 2nd July Thursday and we decided to take advandage of The Dragon Inn steak night, we all chose a the rump steak with chunky chips, that can only be described excellent. The staff who I know, are very nice and...

A business lunch for 2 people: menu not very imaginative - standard pub grub with just a couple of nods to its Welsh location. We both had the bog standard 4oz burger with very chunky fries, washed down with a glass of Merlot. The food was tasty enough, but nothing special. The service was good, however, and that is all...

Visited The Dragon Inn for an overnight stay with my husband and 6 month old baby - what a lovely place in a fab location. The room was very modern and spacious with everything we needed. The beer garden was a fair size with lots of places to sit and enjoy a drink in the Sun. The food made our stay...

Excellent single room, decor and finish was very good. A really well run establishment with quality service. Food was very good and service not too intrusive. Would definitely return as good value for such a quality experience.

Visited here on a wine tour of mid-Wales, in preference to the more expensive nearby Bear Hotel (where we dined as a compromise). Our party had two rooms, beautifully furnished with high quality linen and perfectly presented. The staff on arrival and in the morning were delightful and we had a wonderful stay. The low beams and creaky staircases add...

We booked a twin room. Think it was No 8 at the rear of the building. Very friendly greeting on arrival, and were shown to our room on the first floor. The room had clearly been refurbished and was spacious, bright, clean and very comfortable with a window overlooking the back garden. The bathroom was fabulous and large with a...
