Have stayed here several times recently while overseeing property refurbishment. The rooms have been refurbished and are comfortable. The breakfast is good and there is a restaurant plus bar meals. The place doubles as a pub very popular with locals. There is car parking at the rear. The prices are reasonable, though more expensive at weekends when the hotel fills...

We had one night here en route to the Brecon Beacons. Hotel very friendly, all very busy on a Sunday evening. But the food is heavy. Too much on the plates and nothing tempting for the more healthy eater. The rooms are super. Very well appointed. Excellent bathroom.

Nice pub, friendly locals and great locals Ales, IPA & ciders. Didn't eat but was told the food is usually great. We were staying nearby but accommodation is available with plenty of parking. Extensive pub has several rooms, lots of seating and comfy sofas too, perfect after a hard day's activities.

Visited on a Tuesday evening, the bar area is very spacious with comfortable seating. Overall the team working were young but we received excellent, polite and knowledgable service, thank you. Our meals were a rib eye steak, a little small but very tasty, and the fish pie, a little dry but otherwise enjoyable. We found this hotel to be relaxing...

Wonderful restaurant in a beautiful location with friendly service. A busy cheerful pub with nice food and a varied menu. I return every time I visit the beautiful town and always enjoy my stay. Will happily return again upon my next visit.

Had food before but this was our first overnight stay. Stayed in room 17 off the courtyard, one of the refurbished rooms. Room was nice, good size, very clean and most importantly our dog could stay too. Lovely breakfast, they cooked veggie sausages on request and perfectly poached eggs. We had breakfast in the bar rather than restaurant because the...

Stayed 2 nights last week in Room 18, off the Courtyard. Brilliant placed for us as we had Bo, our little white & a bit of black Frenchie with us! Lovely room, with seating area & TV wall mounted on swivel. Tea, coffee, chocolate plus biscuits replenished daily. We ate in the bar both nights, super super food. Portions just...

The service is always excellent even mans best friend is treated like a king, whilst we were there the staff brought out little bowls of chicken bits for all the dogs that were in the...

A small hotel with good staff and great food. Family of six stayed for 4 nights in early April 2017. We took two rooms, both spacious and modernised. The carpark was large; we always found a space. The hotel has 12 chefs that produced consistently good meals over our four days. The town is on the A40, East of the...

The two of us stayed here for three days in April and found it good value for money at £575 for breakfast, dinner, drinks and accommodation. The courtyard room was pleasant although we did experience some noise early each morning with the staff arriving in good voice. In saying that though all the staff here, without exception, were cheerful, helpful...
