Phoned to book a Double room with sea view & a Single, on arrival offered a Twin room with sea view, when challenged, other rooms were offered but no view, no heating or down the corridor for a shower! (the single had a 3/4 bed in a little room) The twin room was clean and acceptable with a tiny toilet/shower... More

In short. Lovely staff. Girl who greeted us and served us food and drinks after a long drive and stopover before ferry was excellent and could'nt have been friendlier. Morning breakfast staff likewise. Location. Superb for the ferry. 2 minute drive - done. Hotel. More a run down pub/B&B Food Pretty dreadful. Room. Window wouldn't close 100%. Small. Damp (See... We were booked on the next day's ferry to Ireland, and chose Seaview as a convenient overnight stay. Convenient it certainly was, and room 1 had a good sea, and harbour view. The room was adequate (except it had just ONE power socket, and, once having been good-sized, had had the shower/toilet and the wardrobe carved out of it, probably... More

Only stayed for 1 night, but found staff very friendly. Room was fairly basic and small but very comfy bed. Dinner was very reasonably priced and lovely and fresh. Breakfast was also very tasty and waitress again very friendly. Benches outside with nice views and you can also eat outside - nice and quiet. Hotel is about a half hour... More

We stayed one night here. The staff were polite and friendly. The room was clean and tidy if a bit dated but had the benefit of a wonderful sea view. We ate in town (15/20 minute walk)so cannot comment on the evening meal but breakfast was good and plentiful.

The Seaview Hotel is in a good location if you're visiting the area - it's right on the seafront with views of the lighthouse. The staff were incredibly friendly, and very helpful to accommodate to our needs. The room and building itself were in need of quite a bit of attention, it certainly felt like a budget hotel - you... We were late off the ferry but the reception staff knew about the late ferry so all was good and we were able to have a few hours kip before a journey back to the midlands. Breakfast was good and checkout a reasonable 11am. All in all it really fits the bill and serves its purpose well. The only downside... More
