Spent three nights here with a good friend. We had separate rooms next to each other at no extra charge which was great. The rooms are very spacious. Huge, comfortable bed and even different grades of pillows (they really do think of everything). The food is amazing, both breakfast and dinner and the service is outstanding. We went out and...

Our 4th time at Bodelwyddan hotel, but due to the new cabaret room table reservation system it will be a long time before we return again. We felt as if we were travelling with Ryanair as "Others Queue" as we only paid several hundred pounds for our 3 night break, we did not deserve to have a 'reserved table' in...

Having tried Warners Alvaston Hall, We wondered if its the same package in a different location. Well, It seems to follow a similar pattern in standards and staff training. Friendly politeness and a happy attitude from staff. Location however is so different. We were situated in a Signature room in a location that gave a village feeling. We loved it....

We were fortunate to stay in one of the Lodges, the setting around the water features was lovely and we thought the rooms were well furnished and very clean. With staying in a Lodge, we had the VIP dining experience, the waitresses couldn't do enough and the food was of a good standard. The breakfast had a vey good selection...

Be warned - if you go online in September to book a mid week autumn break in November, as we did, it is very likely that you will end up celebrating Christmas in November. We know this now, but when we booked, as first timers with Warners, this was not mentioned on the website nor was it on our booking...

Back again, this time we tried one of the new lodges, very nice and spacious. Might be a problem if you have mobility issues, or if the weather is poor, as they are situated a short distance from the hotel. There is seating outside good for sitting outside with a glass or two of wine in the sun. Would be...

This was our second trip to Bodelwyddan Castle Room 243 We went in August and had a wonderful time. Parking was an issue as all spaces fill up fast, and some guests parking is very selfish and room cleaning was poor. Soap and shower gel etc expected to last all weekend as they were not replaced until we asked reception....

Stayed here for three nights on a mid-week break having visited several times in the past. Despite all the refurbishments we found it not so good. Our arrival at reception was cool to say the least, receptionist barely looked at us and gave us very little information. We were directed to a signature room which meant lugging our bags and...

The hotel fell far short of our expectations from the moment we arrived. It will be far easier to list these rather than write a fancy paragraph or two. We gave both the duty manager and the customer liaison ample opportunity to make amends but we have left the hotel today feeling very let-down. There was one saving grace to...
