After booking over the phone and asking for a spacious room because my Husband as a large Guide Dog we authorised the payment. On arrival they saw the Guide Dog and said they did not think the room was big enough, they showed me the room and it was like a box so the member of staff showed me a...

Me and my partner visited this place as it looked really nice and I suppose if you just wanted to go for a drink then this would be ideal.. we went for food and if I'm honest we should of gone to the chip shop, I have never tasted food like it, the rice was way over done and like...

I am sorry to hear you were unhappy with your meal as our food and drink is usually of a very good quality. If the shandy contained soda then you should have mentioned it and it would have been rectified immediately. Thanks

Lovely location on the promenade, stunning views over the beach. Room clean but very cramped and not exactly cheap. Decor shabby and no hairdryer or shower...easy to install on a mixer tap I would have thought! Nice breakfast but regimented seating. Good place for a traditional seaside break but if you're looking for real comfort look further than this hotel.

I stayed at Min-y-Mor last weekend to attend a reunion of former pupils of Barmouth Grammar School. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the room I was allocated (ground floor, quiet, clean, with a modern walk-in shower and natural light - so important to us ladies for putting on our makeup!) to the lovely meal served in the evening to celebrate...

We asked for a sea view and that is exactly what we got. We lay in bed watching the sun rise over the sea. Room was clean and tidy (no hairdryer) comfortable. Room was a nice size with cosy chairs and of course tea and coffee. Well equipped bathroom although the shower could be more powerful. Restaurant food looked and...

Where do I start. Having, I thought, booked a room with disabled facilities I arrived to find that the only concession to disabled guests was a disabled toilet which was basically there to service visitors to the public bar. This is not a disabled friendly hotel for staying guests. Having booked bed, breakfast & evening meal and in fact booked...

Thanks for your review, I do think it is somewhat unfair as we do offer some disabled facilities , ground floor bedrooms, grab rails in the bathrooms, the dining room, bar and Bistro are all wheelchair accessible and we do have disabled parking spaces right outside the property. We do not having full disabled wet rooms. We would expect customers...

Meal was hot and tasty and they catered for our large group of humans and dogs. However a DJ set up during our meal (big speakers right by our table) and it was so loud that you couldn't hear ourselves. I ended up not staying for dessert and walking out. I wouldn't recommend eating there on a Saturday night!

I am very sorry to hear that the music started before you had finished dining I had spoken to the barman and asked him to ensure the music didn't start until your group had finished eating so I can only apologise profusely that this didn't happen! I am very sorry this spoiled an otherwise enjoyable evening. Unfortunately I wasn't front...

This hotel was fairly basic but in a great spot, right across the road from the ocean and an easy walk along the waterfront into the township. As it was summer holidays and Barmouth is a beach resort, the area was very busy, with many families soaking up the sun and making the most of the warm weather. The hotel...

We stopped here on Saturday night for dinner. Walked in, saw loads of people eating so ordered a drink at the bar. Once ordered we asked about how to order food only to be told that they weren't serving food! It is Saturday night. There are people eating as I sit here. And we were told no food. The least...

Lovely spot on a sunny day. Always park car here when we visit Barmouth. New management have taken over & a few improvements made. Have not tried food as yet, but sure it would be very good. A very pleasant place to end the day over looking the beach with an ice cold pint of Thatchers. Just what the doctor...
