David and Arabella run an extremely welcoming and comfortable Bed and Breakfast in the village of Northton. It is ideally located for exploring the wonderful beaches of South Harris as well as a short distance from the ferry terminal at Leverburgh. Our room was well appointed with an adjacent private bathroom (with bath). Breakfasts were excellent - we really enjoyed...

We had a three night stay at Tetherstone B&B and Arabella and David could not have been better hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, they even let us eat our evening meal there when the resturants were fully booked, and supplied extra food for us. We strongly recomment this B&B you could'nt do better. Its a couple of minutes away...

We had a lovely three night stay with David and Arabella. Their house is beautifully furnished and comfortable and they couldn't do enough to make our stay in this gorgeous part of Harris a proper treat. Breakfasts are amazing and our hosts' local knowledge is really helpful.

Two beautiful rooms on the upper floor, each with its own bathroom. The area is nice with open views of the sea and the hills, and a fine walk along the coast to a ruined church. The hosts, Arabella and David, not only made the best breakfast one can imagine, but also gave us lots of good information about the...

Stayed 3 nights at Tetherstone. Friendly and accommodating hosts; comfortable rooms and the way the hosts have set up the house doesn't make you feel you are imposing all the time; good and plentiful breakfasts.

It has been very nice to stay 3 days with Arabella and David in Tetherstone. They have been very helpful and kind to us. Nice to talk with David about the birds and nature in general. And of course the holes by the sea.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Tetherstone. It's a lovely, well appointed house situated in a quiet part of Northton with easy access to some amazing walks and beaches. The rooms are spotless, beautifully furnished and very comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious (as was the lemon drizzle cake in the afternoon). The hosts are charming, attentive and very welcoming....

We stayed for 3 nights in June 2016 and can absolutely recommend Tetherstone. Arabella and David were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. Their delightful house is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean while the breakfasts were absolutely outstanding. Our stay was enhanced by excellent advice on local walks and the house was only a short distance from...
