A return trip to these excellent cottages with amazing views and wonderful, open-hearted and creative hosts. We swam in the sea every day from deserted white sand beaches ten minutes walk away, saw basking sharks and dolphins; did some great walks, including Tarbert to Rhenigidale (stunning), and sprinted up Ceapabhal from the Temple Cafe. The sun and the full moon...

Spent a week at the Grandfathers House in Northton. Suzan and Jan could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. There was a lovely, and welcome, package to help us settle in to this quaint, well maintained and comfortable accommodation. It sort of wrapped itself around you when you entered. Location was good for all beaches, Hill Walks and eating out. We...

We could not have enjoyed our visit to the Western Isles more. This cottage is in a lovely location with stunning beaches just a short walk away. Northton village has the wonderful Croft 36 (where Julie cooks fabulous food and brings it to your door!) and the quirky Temple Cafe is a stroll away. The cottage is fabulous and hosts...

We stayed at Fulmar Cottage, which is very nicely furnished, nice and roomy and very comfortable. It's up a short well-maintained track on the hill above the owners' house, and the elevation provides breathtaking views - especially from the main lounge window, from where you can see the beautiful beach at Scarista, the turquoise sea, out to the island of...

We have had a wonderful week staying at Grandfather's House. It is has the prefect location, in Northton, near the best beaches where we walked the dogs for miles. The cottage is very comfortable, with modern amenities, in a 1910 old blackhouse. Quite a privilege. There is excellent provision of anything you would want, including three kinds of coffee-maker: cafetiere,...

Holidays at Beachview cottages are a magical experience. We are a family of 5 and have been eleven times, at different times of the year. We have stayed in both Gannet Cottage and Fulmar Cottage and both are furnished to an excellent standard with super attention to detail. They are cosy and warm (we have also stayed at the end...

We really enjoyed our two weeks here. We baked homemade pizzas in the fancy oven, ate in front of the blazing fire and slept in a bed with a view of the stars. Grandfather's House is cosy, a little quirky, very warm and inviting and so nice to retreat to after a day on the hills or nearby vast beaches....

We stayed in Gannett Cottage and it was truly lovely. Amazing views, cosy fire, a bath and shower big enough for two! We spied eagles circling overhead and walked on the most amazing whitest of sandy beaches within a slow 10 minute stroll from the house. The cottage was a very luxurious treat for two; a great romantic get-away. We'd...

Oh where do I start, just returned from a week in Fulmar cottage, so chilled out. A lot of thought and planning has gone into this cottage. Well appointed kitchen, ( not that I cooked much), really comfortable lounge and luxurious bathroom. The bed was the most comfortable ever, really good nights sleep. Jan and Suzan were delightful hosts and...

“Fulmar cottage was perfect for four adults, and would suit a family with younger children as well. Bright, with lots of natural light....more than well-equipped for self-catering, all with high quality furnishings, fixtures, kitchen equipement/dishes, comfortable beds.”
