This is a lovely B&B and is run like clockwork. Breakfast was excellent, room very cosy and comfortable with ample space, even a sofa to watch TV, and a most welcoming small decanter of sherry as well as the usual Coffee and biscuits, etc. It was clean and warm. All of the decor is fresh and attractive. The views from...

Ullapool was our first stop on our Scottish holiday, and I don't think it could have been a better first stay than at The Sheiling. Our hosts, Leslie and Iain, were friendly, accommodating and shared their knowledge of the area with us. Our room was neat and clean with all you could need for an overnight stay. I would have...

Stayed here for one night during our NC500 tour. We had Room 1 on the ground floor which was very spacious & included a sofa and the complimentary sherry was just what we needed after riding thro the rain. Only a short walk into Ullapool and stunning views from the lounge & Breakfast room of the loch. The Breakfast was...

We can recommend the hotel with a clear conscienceur Our room, it was the nr. 2, was big and bright. It has enough storage space and there was no problem to pack away our luggage for our three weeks trip through Scotland. The bed were good, we slept very well. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. The hosts were...

I wish we had planned for more than just one night here. The view from our upstairs twin room was great! The location was convenient, though a little tricky to spot from the main road. The onsite laundry facilities were nice, but could use a few instructions placed in strategic locations for users. The sitting area was large and had...

Stayed for one night and was impressed by this we'll run establishment. The room was comfortable and spotless. The decanter of sherry was a nice touch. Breakfast was superb and there was something to suit every taste. The garden is beautiful and the views are stunning. Definitely stay here again if I was ever back in Ullapool.

Stayed for the second time in two years. Once again we were very impressed by the friendliness, welcome, cleanliness and food. Our double room was lovely with excellent provision for making tea and coffee and even a decanter of sherry! The velux Windows had full blackout blinds and the en-suite was a great size and immaculate. Breakfast was the best...

We stayed here on our way back south as an overnight but wish we have taken 2-3 days here. One of the best we've ever stayed in. Beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, close enough to town for access to bars and restaurants but distant enough to be quiet too. The gardens, to which you have access run down to the Loch...

We stayed here in 2012 and had no hesitation in going back last week. We even took 2 friends, who also enjoyed it. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The rooms have tea/coffee making facilities and also a decanter of sherry should you need a nightcap! The hosts are friendly and welcoming and breakfast is varied and plentiful. There...
