I stayed at the Tamarin in October as an alternative to the Hotel that I normally stay in whilst doing the "over the top of Scotland" run. The suite (calling it a room would be an insult) comprised of a lovely bedroom, dressing room and bathroom was superb quality - literally a level above any other B&B in which I...

We stayed at Tamarin B&B for two nights. It has beautifully and cosy rooms with modern bathrooms. The breakfast was the best we had in our whole trip around Scotland (fresh eggs from the chickens in the backyard)! It's 15 minutes by foot to Ullapool harbour. And there's a parking space just outside the front door. We felt so welcomed...

We stayed there for 2nights in the lowseason. The rooms are just beautiful! There is a big bedroom with a very comfy bed, a dressing room (big enough for 2 suitcases) and a huge bathroom with a tub and a shower. The owners are so nice and friendly... we felt kind a like at home! And the breakfast was delicious!...

My night here was above and beyond what I expected. The facilities are truly excellent at this property and the large bath was a taste of luxury for me. The property is about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Ullapool and it is a lovely peaceful stroll in where the most is lit by street lights. You will...

We booked this B&B through the tourist information centre in Durness as we were heading down to Ullapool via the new 500 route (which was super busy) so sight unseen (we tend to review our places before booking but were getting a bit desperate) we arrived at what can only be described as an amazing establishment run by Val &...

Richard and Val made us feel very welcome and gave us great advice. The room was among the best we stayed in; spacious, our own deck, clean, modern. The breakfast was just great with eggs from their own chickens. Location is just 5 minutes from downtown Ullapool, far enough away from the town to be very quiet. Highly recommended!

The Hosts Richard & Val make you most welcome and are very informative. The accommodation is Officailly 4* and I would agree, it is a modern architectually built property and the rooms very spacious, comfortable with walk-in shower to die for haha. It has underfloor heating and towel rails. The breakfasts are cooked to order and excellent especially the black...

Had reviewed trip advisor before and we chose this due to the reviews and we made the right choice. The rooms were really nice and the breakfast was one of the best we had on the holiday. The couple were really friendly and gave us some local advice regarding where to go to eat.

What a lovely stay we had with Richard and Val. They made us feel so welcomed in their home, chatting away like long lost friends and giving us advice on the trip further North. We stayed here on the 20th September and we absolutely loved it, and intend to stay longer with them when we come back to the area...

A wonderful location overlooking the sea. Quality “as new” home. Very comfortable, with our own balcony. Its off the main road into Ullapool which would take about a 15 min walk. Note, no problem for abled walkers but quite steep walk if not that fit. If that’s the case take the car as there was no problem with parking
