What can I say? We loved the Townhouse from the minute we walked inside. As a book lover I could have spent hours looking through the numerous bookcases and as a fisherman my husband was delighted to be so close to the River Tweed.
Well situated juust off the town square which made parking easy.
Short walk to reataurants and shops.
Very spacious room with lovely furnishings and lots of books!
We were given a very warm welcome by Christine .
Great recommendations for drinks and dinner.
We were so happy to stay here in Kelso as we travelled the 4 Abbeys of the Borders and visited Floors Castle and Sir Walter Scott's houe, Abbotsford.
We spent three nights in a wonderful large room overlooking the town square of Kelso ..
Cannot fault the beautiful Georgian building with tasteful bedrooms and a good breakfast. The only problem is that our room was on the square and the traffic noise continued through the night. If you are a light sleeper beware!
Absolutely first-class accommodation in fabulous house. We were given a warm welcome and an excellent breakfast too. Highly recommended for a fancy weekend away. The location is right in the heart of Kelso.
