Having a lifetime's experience of old fashioned Scottish B & B's, I was a bit worried as we drove up the drive to this hotel. However, it has restored my faith in B & Bs, it is simply beautiful inside, with a friendly welcome. It seems to have been totally modernised. We were so lucky to be given a large...

This is a really excellent B&B --it's "only" a B&B, even though it actually looks and feels like a luxurious small hotel. It can't be officially called a hotel because it doesn't have a restaurant of its own. However, considering the fantastic seafood restaurant virtually next door on the shores of Loch Leven, this hardly matters. The lodge itself is...

Great welcome, stay and room. Lovely friendly place to stay, we would not hesitate to stay again or recomend it to others. Had it not been for the information given by the owner that we needed to book our ferry, we would of been unable to go on the ferry back from Skye. Although we did not manage to have...

The Creag Mhor exceeds all expectations. The deluxe room with view was much larger than our suite in Edinburgh. The view is fantasic. Food and all amenities are first rate. What is truly extraordinary is the level of guest service we received. This is a family run establishment which has an incredibly professional, competent, and warm staff. If you are...

Big old ex-house of local clergyman, seems to have seen more grandiose days (as does the whole area, actually), but is still a very acceptable place to stay if one is passing through. Room was clean, big and comfortable. Shower was very good, as was the breakfast. Does not have a restaurant.

Lovely Lodge with massive rooms and huge bathrooms. Extremely nice and warm people. Breakfast is very good and the views from the room takes your breath away. You have to have your own vehicle to move around as this property is roughly 10 miles from Fort Williams. The only negative is the difficulty to locate the property after it becomes...

Great lodge right on Loch Linnhe near N. Ballachulish. Outstanding location! Convenient to Ft. William, Ben Nevis, Glen Nevis, Isle of Skye and more. Extremely large rooms, very comfortable and clean. Run by Alison and her husband and they do a great job. The kind of place you could stay at for a week just for R&R. Can't wait to...

We started phoning for a guest house when we reached Glencoe and struck gold. Delightful and helpful hosts. Excellent rooms. Superb views. Terrific breakfast. We could not fault it.
