We went here with family and stayed in the two lodges which were lovely. The walk to the pub is about 15 minutes at a leisure. The pub is lovely, the food is lovely, the staff are lovely.....it's all lovely and we will return. The Talbot and Beckford are amazing in there own ways, I love the Talbot more but...

Fantastic! Great staff, the lounge in particular is really relaxing. The staff go out of their way to help you. The food is delicious and the coffee is great. We go here regularly and always receive a warm welcome. Thoroughly recommend 😉

Came here to meet a friend- wow we lucked in with this one, though we did not book which we should have done as it was really busy they found us a table and we had the most delicious food. Not too huge servings which so often happens in restaurants nowadays but really good and tasty food. Wish you were...

We stayed as a party in the two lodges just a short walk from the Beckford Arms. The lodges were excellent just far enough away to be private but nearer enough to enjoy the benefits of the pub. But remember they are a good 10- 15 minute walk away depending on how fit you are!! The lodges were very well...

Stopped here on a soaking wet day, feeling very hungover following watching Bath Rugby lose the day before. The place is lovely and very relaxed. Staff were very approachable and freindly. What pleases me on a Sunday is to be able to go somewhere and be offered something other than roast dinners. on the day we were there, you could...

We really enjoyed our stay. The fire was lit and it was very relaxing sitting in front of it sipping wine. Our room was nice and quiet. The restaurant was OK, the menu was small. The starter I had was cod and it was a bit nouveau cuisine. I didn't really enjoy it. Main was a burger which was good....

We recently spent a weekend at the Beckford Arms and had such a fantastic time that before leaving we rebooked our next visit. Kindly, the hotel staff picked us up from the station at Tisbury and after briefly depositing our luggage in our rooms, we headed down for dinner. The food was very good and we couldn't get enough of...

We were guests here for a pre Christmas treat. Our family was late but we enjoyed the hustle of the bar and it's pre Christmas walkers, drinkers and diners. We were allowed to change tables from the one reserved for us and the service was both friendly and attentive. The disappointment was with the food. Whilst the ladies had chosen...
