We arrived later than expected after flying in from California and received a warm welcome from David and Simone with a nice fire burning in their lounge and a relaxing glass of wine and friendly converstaion. Our room was exactly what we expected with peace and quiet and an opportunity to catch up on sleep. Our breakfast was well prepared...

We love this place, a great place to stay! Quiet but cosy, David and Simons made every effort to make us feel like home! We like the surroundings area and like to stay more in the house David may have strong character but he is a kind person indeed.

As previous reviews, David has a knack of being aggressive and rude. Perhaps he does have nice side with over the top false warmth that only appears by chance. However we are not on holiday in a charming welcoming village for it to be spoilt by his insulting child like behaviour. Don't take the risk as there are loads of...

I found this b&b by chance, and how lucky was I! I can't stop telling all of my friends about this place, it is very special. As other reviews state, the owners David and Simone are extremely welcoming. It was a cold frosty evening when I stopped here and the huge log fire and a glass of excellent Rioja were...

Firstly let's start with the owners. David and Simone will fall over backwards to welcome you and make you feel at home. Their hospitality was a tad overwhelming at first (says more about the lack of it elsewhere than it does about them I think!) but we quickly warmed to them. Loved the fact that we couldn't properly check in...

This is a truly unique B&B - best I've ever stayed at. Great hosts (and potters) David and Simone gave us a pre-dinner drink in their fantastic living room and we had breakfast by candlelight! Parking off-street in front of the building. Take the torch provided, or use your phone, when you go out for dinner as it's not got...

We are just back from staying here, we have been fortunate to stay in many places, but no-one has ever gone out before breakfast to buy marmite for our son so that he could have his favourite breakfast. Neither has anyone offered to take our little man, who has the concentration of a dead gnat, and teach him how to...

We stayed overnight at the Pottery and it was fabulous. We were lucky to get a room having not booked. The Pottery is situated in the quintessential village of Lacock and is a lovely old stone building. We had our own entrance and our own garden. We had a lovely double room with a comfortable bed and clean, pretty amenities....
