Made a reservation for dinner. Very pleasant waitress welcomed us and showed us to our table, taking drink orders. I had the bangers and mash with onion & black pudding gravy. It was a huge portion and served piping hot. It was a mound of mashed potatoes with a long roll of sausage wrapped around the potatoes, with lashings of...

Just spent three nights at this excellent pub. Had Room 2, which is a large room with a good sized bathroom. Very clean and comfortable room, good breakfasts and excellent meals served in the pub. Great selection of real ales in the well stocked bar. The staff are friendly and very good at what they do. Can't really fault this...

Spent two nights here in room 3. Nice size room with comfortable bed and large bathroom. It was up 3 flights of stairs but had nice views of the church and limited view of the sea. Had only planned to eat there once but the first meal was so good we went back the second night. The chicken with pea...

Called in on a Monday evening with my Father as we were staying in the area and were hungry. Saw the reviews and loved the look of the pub and were delighted with the choice. The fire was lit on a cool night, and the whole place from welcoming appearance to attentive staff was just brilliant. The choice of beer...

The underfloor heating in the en suite was very welcome on cold February mornings . The room was well equipped with plenty of plug sockets/hair dryer/tea coffee/ toiletries and big fluffy towels. The staff were really friendly nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was delicous both in the restaurant and the bar and was great value for money. The sticky toffee pudding is to die for. Our room was really comfortable and quiet - no noisy disturbances from other guests.

Prices are high, with the pub being near the the beach. The food arrived for four of us and a dog close by urinated on the floor....
