On a sunny Bank Holiday surprised to find it had so few customers but probably due to not serving food throughout the day. Great location , wonderful old fashioned interior with lots of nooks and crannies and a great little garden wth long distance views at the rear. My one reservation would be the self indulgent collection of cats which...

Fauconberger, Owner at Fauconberg Arms, responded to this review

Thank you for your review. We are pet friendly at the Fauconberg but we do not have a Menageri. We have one black Labarador called Bramble and One rather old cat called Ming Ming. Bramble is a great pub dog who will, if invited, join a converstion at a table in the bar hoping for some 'special' attention and we...

Beautiful, historic building. My room was super comfortable, large, charming, and had all the modern conveniences. The owner Helen was marvelous, very friendly and terrifically helpful. And the food in the restaurant was superb. Also the ambiance was warm and inviting. The best place I stayed during my two weeks in Northern England. Highly recommend!!

8 of us stayed at the Fauconberg Arms in August for 2 nights. Had a great time in a wonderful family run pub. The village of Coxwold is really pretty although there is only the one pub there it wasn't a problem as the Fauconberg Arms has a really nice atmosphere.

We stayed at the Fauconberg Arms in July 2013 and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, despite the torrential rain. The Fauconberg Arms is a proper Inn, with a proper pub, serving good quality local fodder and well kept ales. It does not pretend to be anything other than this. The pub rooms are as you would expect of a...

Friends of our's found this gem of an inn to enable us to meet up on our way back from Scotland. Both couples have dogs and I can categorically state that this is a truly dog-friendly place! We were all made very welcome, were well hosted throughout our stay and were graciously bid farewell. Our rooms were clean and comfortable,...

Sometimes you arrive at a place and know that you've arrived in your happy place and this was one of those times! Every single member of staff was accommodating, friendly, fun and happy and couldn't do enough for us. The food was great, beer and wine was criminally cheap (especially when compared to London and Surrey prices). I was even...

A group of us stayed at this quaint little pub and were all really impressed. The bar area has great character, the bedrooms are light and airy and there is a guaranteed warm family welcome! After a few too many at a wedding at byland abbey the night before a good quality full english also went down a treat! Highly...

Stayed just the one night on Bank Holiday Monday for our Wedding Anniversary. Received a warm and friendly welcome. All the staff are very friendly and give excellent service. Stayed in Pinkerspond, a lovely double aspect room with a large comfy bed. Small shower room but a very good shower. Had our evening meal in the very attractive dining room,...
