I have been meaning to write this for a while (I got married in August!) and are at last just getting finger to iPad! The build up to the wedding was made really easy by Eileen. She gave suggestions without being pushy but inspired me as, unlike most brides, didn't really have a clue what I had to do. She...

I organised our annual xmas lunch for our 2nd visit here & once again we were treated wonderfully well! As we're a nightshift, we sat down to eat at 11am, but this proved no problem! The menu was first class, very tasty & plentiful! Everyone said how much they enjoyed themselves, & I will be certainly booking us in next...

Arrived Friday evening, excellent reception, quick efficient check in, friendly staff. Rooms clean and spacious, bath room a little small but adequate for 1 person, too small for 2 at once. Excellent bar and bar staff, great pint of Marston's Pedigree.

We stayed in room 14 which was very comfortable and had all the amenities you'd want. The bed and bedding were excellent, we had such a good nights sleep. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was ample. The location couldn't be better, being on the High Street you are right amongst the shops, restaurants and bars.

In our opinion we would never book this Hotel again, unfriendly and unprofessional staff. Tatty looking carpets, dark and dismal reception area. We had a problem with the booking and the staff here were not any help at all, all they wanted was their money! It seems to us that this is a pub trying to cash in and sell...
