What a lovely stay as always at this hotel so we thought we would do Christmas Eve and Christmas Day break , the room was beautiful very clean with covid put in place . We had food on Christmas Eve when we arrived and it was excellent for the adults and the children nothing to much trouble, we went for a lovely walk around the river seen and feed some swans , it was lovely to leave the car and explore Blandford town with its little open market and gorgeous shops . We woke up Christmas morning and went down for breakfast which was limited because of being Christmas Day ( understandable) it’s was lovely and the breakfast staff were so lovely . Well our family Christmas meal was just outstanding and the staff were excellent nothing to much trouble so relaxed it made our Christmas Day so enjoyable from the normal rushing around cooking and doing dishes. I would highly recommend staying here at anytime of the year such a beautiful outstanding hotel with amazing staff Thank you so much to the team of the crown hotel you made our Christmas outstanding and merry Christmas to you all Mr & Mrs Adam

Visited the Alpine Bar yesterday which is a lovely place. The staff were very nice and the food was good. However we were placed in the corner on very high seats on a small table which had a stand in the middle on top so we couldn't see each other! We did have to ask for the bill 3 times before we got it as they were so busy but it was a nice evening overall.

I dropped my 16 year old daughter and a friend in her bubble at The Crown yesterday for a snack, a pud and a drink. They hadn't seen each other in ages. The front of house member of staff ...I believe to have been called Vince , was SO welcoming and cleared a really cosy circular boutique area specially for them. They later told me that he and his staff, a female waitress checked on them throughout their stay. She was also really friendly. To be honest, it made their visit! They were made to feel so special and I felt it was noteworthy. They wanted to thank him before leaving but he must have been busy in another area of the hotel. The Crown Hotel could not have done any more to have enriched their visit! Oh and I love the outdoor Winter Wonderland area! How creative!! Kind regards Sarah from Milborne.
