Lexi & John made us & my parents very welcome from the minute we arrived. There are so many little touches that make the stay extra special, the accommodation is first class & it was no trouble to put an extra bed in the studio room for our little boy. We really couldn't fault anything & intend to stay again... More

Stayed for three nights. Large spotlessly clean room with a beautiful outlook over the meadows down to the river. Excellent breakfast and charming hosts. It may be a bit more expensive than some B&B but it delivers extra value in spades - thoroughly recommended. ( Our room had the unexpected extra of a small kitchenette - very convenient ).

We had a delightful stay at Bryanston Cottage and can't recommend it highly enough. The room was perfect with a lovely bathroom and small kitchenette. Every day there was a plate of cake ready for our return from lovely days out in Dorset. Breakfast was plentiful and deliciously cooked. We had to cut down on amount each day! The garden... More

We were travelling as a family (all adults) on a Dorset cycling tour and they could not have been more of a joy to stay with. They were happy for my sister to leave her car for a few days, and were extremely gracious hosts which was just what we needed after rain drenched 4 hour ride. The Bath was... More

We were delighted to be able to look after you all and to dry you all out in readiness for the next drenching. I promise it doesn't always rain in delightful Dorset. Indeed, we are often drier than most of the uk. Your kind comments are much appreciated. We hope to see you all again on a future cycling adventure.... More

I'd stayed in Blandford previously, and regret that it took me until now to discover Bryanston Cottage. Everything about staying here was perfect - the accommodation was five star, the breakfasts were five star plus (!), and you couldn't ask for more gracious, generous and interesting hosts. I'd recommend staying at Bryanston Cottage in a heartbeat and plan to visit... More

Just to add my voice to the chorus really. Hugely welcoming. Very warm. Deeply comfortable. Beautifully done and pleasing on the eye. A Georgian house - well, more exactly a cottage, but a ducal cottage and something of a gem architecturally as well as by the way of hospitality. PS Off street parking, excellent wi-fi, properly large towels and lovely... More

My friend and I stayed here for one night whilst walking the Stour Valley Way. We were welcomed by the owners and shown to a beautifully appointed twin room. And what a room! From standing at the front of the building one would believe oneself to be in a town but the views from the bedroom were across stunning open... More

My daughter and I stayed at Bryanston Cottage last night and I can honestly say this has been the most wonderful experience ever. Upon arrival were fresh brownies and tea and the biggest, warmest welcome from both John, Lexi and the cutest yorkies ever. The twin room is enormous, beautifully decorated with views to die for. The ensuite was full... More

We stayed here while attending a wedding at The Larmer Tree. It's an ideal location, because it's a few miles away. What we didn't realise was that it would be such a delight to stay there! John, the owner was such a gentleman and so generous with his time that you felt like you'd known him for years. That said,... More

Stayed for 5 nights in March, top quality, nice people, and a great breakfast made by an extraordinary and lovely lady. Will stay again. Highly recommended. There is a nice walk round the back of the house and also nice garden to sit out in.
