Absolutely great family getaway. Tents are well located, clean and fully equipped. Our family had a great time, something for all ages. Kids and adults loved the the farm tour with Nigel. Emma and Nigel are excellent hosts.

Just done a weeks glamping at Aller farm. BRILLIANT! fabulously well thought out tents, amazing location and just the best family ever running it all. Milked the cows, learnt about dairy farming, had our own pair of chickens with fresh eggs to collect every morning... was great. The bed shed in the tent a huge hit with the kids and...

We have just returned from a midweek break at Aller farm and absolutely loved every minute. The 'tents' are really cosy with everything you need for a relaxing break and the beds are so comfy, our son loved sleeping in the cupboard bed!! The setting is picturesque, quiet and although rural it is accessible enough to get out and about....

What a fantastic family holiday! We stayed in one of their all singing all dancing tents with hot tub and shower. The "tent" (it was more like a chalet) was spotless and well equipped. There was a welcome pack on arrival with probably the best lemon drizzle cake i have ever eaten. My children (10, 8 and 5) loved the...

We had an amazing mid-week break in Aller Farm via Featherdown farms. Nigel and Emma were fabulous hosts. We did the 'with frills' package which gained us a hot tub and rustic shower, and a bit more privacy than the general packages. The tent was exactly as it was in the brochure, the cupboard bed was big enough for both...

We had a 4 night stay at Aller Farm in late September, and can only echo the positive praise detailed in previous reviews. We opted for the 'frills' option, with the hot tub. Even with September weather & some rain, it was fantastic. We have twins who are neatly 3 yrs old who literally have not stopped talking about the...

Where to begin?? Aller Farm owners Nigel and Emma couldn't be better hosts, Emma's cake, to die for. Nigel's farm tour an absolute must, aimed at adults at extremely interesting. The tents are fabulous, would recommend taking flasks for storing hot water (only cold in tent) and hot water bottles for heatiing up the beds. The beds are comfortable, tent...

We had a great time at Aller Farm this weekend. We went with 2 other familes and everyone had a fabulous time. We made pizzas in the oven, milked cows, had a rise in a tractor, visits the beach and played outdoors with the kids. When the kids were in bed the adults enjoyed watching the cow antics and drinking...

Emma and Nigel are great hosts, welcome you onto their farm and make you feel at home straight away. We went for the frills package which included a nice hamper of Wine, Local...

“We upgraded to the 'frills' package, which meant we had a hot tub, shower (well ... a bucket with holes in!!), and hammock. The 2 frills tents are in a separate field to the other 5 standard tents.”

“The tip given at the heading is slightly misleading. The two tents on their own are the two 'with frills' tents, therefore you can't request them if you don't want the with frills options”
