The Port Gaverne Hotel is very comfortable in a great location in Port Gaverne (near Port Isaac). Rooms are clean, include bath robes and the shampoo etc was of high quality. Loved the coffee machine in the room. We had a roast meal at the hotel which was both large and tasty. Breakfast was also nice. One small issue was...

Absolute gem of a hotel, full of character, our room (Betty Boo) was comfortable and very well equipped. The bed was sooooo comfortable and the balcony with chairs was delightful. The shower quite literally belted out freezing cold/scorching hot water so be careful ! Staff were attentive and friendly . Would we stay here again ?? DEFINATELY !

We had a couple of nights in this lovely hotel. The owner was very friendly who showed us to our room. The room was well equipped with everything and very clean. The bed a little hard but still quite comfortable. There was no noise from downstairs and other guests even though the hotel was full. The only downside was the...

We booked this hotel without really knowing much about it, and how very pleased we were with the hotel and the location. The hotel is a really traditional pub with lots of guests who had their doggies with them, lovely to see them welcome in the bar areas, roaring fires burning, cosy and snug. The waitressing staff were very good...

We chose Port Gaverne for our honeymoon after my (now) wife visited last year on a business trip. She raved about it so it was a no-brainer to choose anywhere else for the four nights we had available. From the moment we walked in around 3pm it was clear to me I'd married the right woman! The greeting was enthusiastic...

We have used the Port Gaverne Hotel for dinner many times over the past 10 years, but stopped after a very bad meal about 2 years ago. We recently found out that the hotel now has new owners, and decided to spend out Wedding Anniversary there. Although rather small, our room was reasonably priced because we got a late deal....

I have to say when I was thinking about writing a review for the Port Gaverne Hotel, I was trying to think how I could say anything than what an utter joy it was to stay here. The customer service is second to none, the staff are friendly and attentive and we were made to feel very welcome. The room...

Really enjoyed our couple of nights stay and the view from our room was breath taking. The bar has a cozy feel and the open fire adds lots of charm. We don't have a dog and have no problem with dogs which is just as well as this hotel is more dog friendly then Battersea. The breakfast was good but...

Wonderful that you had a great time with us. We keep the restaurant dining room totally dog free at all times. But they are welcomed everywhere else.

Sadly a short 1 night break, but we were lucky to get a last minute room. Beautiful room very reasonably priced at £90 for a twin (which they obligingly turned into a double) including breakfast! Fabulous wallpaper carried through with the theme to the furniture. Exceptionally comfy bed with great linens and towels. Cotton waffle dressing gowns, slippers and best...
