Stayed here for one night and we thought the room was excellent. Very large and clean. A very peaceful night's sleep also, very quiet even though the hotel was fully booked. Breakfast was delicious and the staff very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Of all the combinations of accomocation for a group like ours, the small guest hotel with on-site bar and dining is perfect. The new owners of No. 12 Quality have redone and rekindled the hidden spirit of this golfer's gem. They were wise to retain the barman and manager from the prior ownership. Updated rooms, while not fancy, were well...

We spent two nights at No 12. The room was very spacious, and the hospitality tray much appreciated. But, despite the huge bed, the room seemed planned for just one person: only one easy chair, and no desk chair for the desk. We could see Bass Rock from our window, which was great. The 44 steps up and down might...

This is simply a fairly basic but clean B&B over a small restaurant. The room was reasonably large but oddly arranged with a surprisingly small window giving poor ventilation but letting in much noise from the adjacent car park. The sound of what seemed like staff at adjacent premises having loud conversations until late at night was disturbing. The shower...

We and another couple had a meal and stayed overnight to celebrate joint anniversaries. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the stairs took a bit of climbing (rooms were on top floor). The food and service in the restaurant were good. Unfortunately, there isn't a lounge bar to go to after dinner but you can stay in the restaurant,...

What a lovely place to eat! There was 6 of us so they joined 3 small tables together and we sat in the window. The food was lovely and fresh. I had black pudding and poached egg which I'd highly recommend!

We loved the room, which was large and roomy with good views across to Bass rock. The staff were lovely and helpful even though they were very busy. My husband said that his breakfast was good and he enjoyed the haggis. I had the vegetarian option which was also good and I had a good portion. We would stay here...

The hotel with adjacent restaurant was comfortable, with friendly and welcoming staff who were keen to make our visit a good one. The room was large and modern with excellent facilities including a well appointed shower room, hot drink facilities and a large flat screen tv. A full breakfast was offered down in the restaurant from a flexible and varied...

Despite the 40 steps we had to climb to get to our single rooms, we never noticed as our eyes were taking in all the colourful art work by local artist Rob Hain, not to mention the tartan carpet. The rooms were well presented & we enjoyed the offering from the Quality St tin ! Quality bedding & toiletries helped...
