We stayed for 4 nights late October and it was every bit as good as we remembered from our previous visit. Lehr is wonderfully hospitable. Our room and the living room we had access to are comfortable, spacious and have amazing uninterrupted views of the quay and sea.

This was our fourth stay at the Waterfront and we had another fabulous visit. We stayed for 5 nights in the first floor King room, where the views across the marshes are wonderful. Lehr is an excellent host and her breakfasts are delicious. The B&B is ideally placed for eating out in an evening, and there are lots of great walks from the door. We have already booked our fifth visit for next year.

The Waterfront hostess Lehr makes you feel right at home instantly. You are given the full reign of the house during your stay . Our bedroom was on the first floor, the king size room with en-suite. It was spotless very Covid friendly and our view across the marshes with the boats was just spot on. Lehr welcomed us with lemon cake and tea or coffee and all of the little touches -the teas, coffees, biscuits were first class, no expense spared. The shower had everything you needed including some items you might have forgotten, and soft Christy towels. We shall miss our stay here including getting to know our chatty hostess too. Thank you Lehr.

The best bit: Chilling out with a glass of wine on the balcony overlooking the esturary and marshland. Almost the best bit: Our wonderful host Lehr could not have looked after us any better. She's a star! The rest bit: Lovely spacious, comfortable room (with a proper fridge for chilling the bottle of bubbly); really superb breakfast; great little town of Wells with terrific restaurants (Wells Crab House, Globe Inn, Sands); magnificent vast unspoilt sandy beach. We would love to come back and we'll certainly be telling all our friends to stay here.
