Came across this little country house whilst looking for a quick getaway for me and my boyfriend. I looked perfect in the pictures and it was even more impressive in person! Arrived and was shown to our room "Damson" which is one of their standard doubles...however it was such a lovely room with a king size bed and window which...

We went for: My husband and I had full body massages (as a wedding anniversary splurge). The essentials: The reception team were lovely in spite of being busy. The therapists (Amber and Eliza) were professional but warm, as well as skilled. A brief but thorough consultation before showed genuine interest in personalising the treatment and crafting an enjoyable experience. The...

Four of us visited today, Good Friday for a birthday treat. We all had beauty treatments with Amber and Catherine. Thoroughly recommend back massage. After we had finished we then went into the Dining Room for our Afternoon Tea. It certainly didn't disappoint, absolutely delicious in every way especially the home made scones with jam and clotted cream. Fantastic afternoon...

We had a pleasant good seized room (Mulberry). The room was comfortable and it was quiet at night so we slept well. Large bathroom with both bath and shower. The highlight was however the restaurant; we ate there twice and enjoyed our food both times. Varied interesting food with sensible sized portions.

Fab hotel, rooms spacious and very comfortable, lovely peaceful setting. The attention to detail in rooms and from staff was second to none. The staff go that extra mile to ensure that your stay is extra special, even after arriving very late they made us sandwiches and ensured that we had everything we needed. Breakfast was wonderful in fact the...

Having visited the treatment rooms for their annual Christmas open evening and being very impressed (I also bought some Gold Range facial products from their Natural Spa Factory range), I had some time so I booked in for eye brow wax, tint, eyelash tint and gel manicure...how lovely it was! An hour of feeling pampered in lovely surroundings with super...

Lovely overnight stay with my partner, very fortunate to be upgraded to the bridal room with a huge bed and pleasant balcony overlooking the garden and river. Very attentive service, fabulous dinner in the restaurant and breakfast was beautiful too My only comment would be that if you are in the bath there are none of the body washes and...

The rooms in this hotel are not large, but they are well appointed. The food is good but what really sets it apart is the service level from every single person. The staff really care about the service they give. Special mentions go to Mike, Liam and Tom, as the guys who front it all up, but they're the tip...

My son recently got married at this venue. Wow, what a place. A perfect setting for a wedding and the weather was kind to us on the day. The hotel staff catered for our every need. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was superb all day no matter what came up. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. This hotel...

A fantastic venue for a wedding, meal or short break. The Walked Garden is a lovely setting for a reception and we all had a fabulous couple of days there. The staff for both the wedding and in the hotel were very friendly, helpful and good fun. They provided a wonderful stress free environment and worked with such professionalism to...
