The hotel has a great location, overlooking the harbour. there are two lounges, both very good, one of which, the Lookout , has a wonderful view. My single room was well equipped, with a comfortable bed, en-suite shower room, and a modern tv, robes, water , tea making etc., and was very good value, particularly in an area that I... More

My wife and I booked back in August a couple of nights away at this four star hotel to celebrate my birthday this November. We had stayed at this somewhat expensive but lovely hotel ten years earlier and had selected their A+ room overlooking the estuary and the distant sea for this visit. On returning to our room after breakfast... More

Booked Sunday lunch as a birthday treat and it was. The hotel has good parking and is in a great location right on the quay side. On entering the hotel we found the staff really welcoming and we were offered our table even though we were quite early. The table for two was a window table with lovely views. The... More

We booked in for a Birthday lunch for my elderly Mother. What a mistake. Poor service, starters very good but 3 of the four main courses over cooked and 2 sweet course defied description. Will not return.

We have a deep affection for the Blakeney Hotel. It's like visiting a favourite great aunt. We have stayed there many times over the last 30 years but not for a while so we decided to try it again for a two day break. A lot of money has been spent on refurbishment and it is smarter than I can... More

My wife booked 2 nights DB &B. She organised a fantastic room on the 2nd floor and we felt at home immediately. The meals we had were excellent both evenings. The ingredients were obviously tip top and were cooked with flair. Nothing was too much trouble for the exemplary staff. Could anything have been improved? Well (and this is being... More

My wife and i make an annual pilgrimage to this hotel and it has never let us down in 6 years, even though it has undergone some major refurbishment work during this time. Upholds those often lost qualities of peacefulness, relaxed pace if you wish, customer service and the perfect location. Have stayed in all qualities of room and none... More

We booked at the Blakeney Hotel at the last minute so had no choice of room. In the event our "B" class room was lovely; plenty of space and TWO armchairs. The bathroom is probably due for an update but it was clean and tidy and a lovely bath to relax in. The hotel has lots of sitting out space... More

It was a wet morning the week after our son's wedding. We had been recovering in Norfolk and were booked in for lunch before returning to London. The sky over the marsh was stormy and the wind and rain lashed the windscreen as we parked overlooking the harbour. We were early but thought the hotel might find us a corner... More

We had two nights dinner, bed and breakfast over a stormy weekend in November. The hotel is extremely well run and has a lot of trained staff to ensure that things remain that way. They are uniformed, very polite and do whatever they can to keep guests happy. The public areas are exceptional - a large but cosy lounge with... More
