This place is a dump. It is dirty inside and out and the staff are terrible. The worst place ever. There is scum in the sinks and the pool area is filthy. The beds are lumpy with springs sticking out and the windows are broken with latches that cannot be used or are missing altogether. Do not stay or eat...

Was a little worried when I saw other reviews however I was pleasantly surprised on check on. Very friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is a bit dated decor and furniture wise. No phone in room and electrical sockets too far away from mirror to use a hairdryer properly. Bathrooms outdated but our room clean, bathroom clean. Our towels and bedding...

We stayed here in April, we booked as we were competing in a bike sportive just a few miles away. We arrived just after 5pm on a sunny afternoon and were showed to our room straight away(room 5). We weren't expecting a really fancy room but it was ideal for what we needed, nice and tidy and clean. We used...

Apart from other things which guests have complained of I have to honestly say in all the places I've ever stayed in the last 50 years the Spanish owner here takes this title way ahead of anyone else I have ever dealt with!!

Booked through woucher for a 2 night stay which included 2 breakfasts 1 cream tea and 1 evening meal. On arrival I found the receptionist to be friendly and informative. We did the necessary bits presented with the key and told where to go. We then came down for the cream tea, have to say the scone was very good,...

I do read reviews before booking places and The Whoop Hall did intrigue me!? The actual place was in an ideal location for us to explore the countryside around Lancashire, Yorkshire and Cumbria. We all received a warm welcome, including our two well behaved puppies, by the chirpy receptionist. The room was a decent size with all the necessary amenities....

We were looking forward to this stay at Whoop Hall and found a good deal on Groupon. Arrived just after 2pm to check in. Big queue with one guy on reception. Given our room key but when we opened the door it was a twin room and we had booked a double. Back down to reception to join an even...
