Perfect location in the heart of the village with restaurants and pubs minutes away. Stay includes a very handy car parking spot in the village. Bill and Sue were perfect hosts, felt like we'd known them forever. Fab breakfast with lots of choice. Definitely recommend

Stayed for one night, what a lovely place. Gorgeous house with wooden beams and lovely clean rooms. Shower and bathroom spotless. Breakfast was delicious. Bill and Sue are a lovely couple, very attentive and helpful. Restaurants nearby were busy so book a table in advance.

We took a few days to go hill walking in the dales, and decided Kirkby Lonsdale was a good base. Having never been to this area, we immediately felt we'd made the right choice. Nowhere else we passed through in the next three days had the kind of amenities available in town, particularly the choice of places to eat. On...

Excellently located in town centre. Parking is some 200 metres away but no problem as Bill quickly helped us to unload bags in the narrow lane right outside. Parking is safe and numbered and allows a very pleasant stroll through this lovely town back to the Blue Pig. All previous praise for Bill and Sue was fully justified with them...

This is such a lovely B&B, tucked just off the main street in Kirkby Lonsdale. I arrived just as the owners, Bill and Sue, were eating their evening meal, but they couldn't have been more accommodating. Bill took my case, and showed me my room, explaining how everything worked. The room was fairly small but absolutely lovely, and spotlessly clean....

Our hosts, Bill and Sue were just lovely people to deal with, Bill kindly offering to take our very large suitcases up the narrow stairs. I don't think he quite appreciated what he was offering to do! Our room while not huge was beautifully decorated and maintained, the bed was comfortable and the en-suite excellent. Breakfast was brilliant. Bill and...

From the moment we arrived everything was faultless - from the welcome we received, the accommodation, the local knowledge and of course the breakfast! Sue and Bill have got the art of running a B&B down to a fine art and the pride they take in it shines through. Needless to say we have already arranged our next stay. Andrew...

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Very pleasant and attractive rooms in a house built in the 1500s. The welcome is as friendly, happy and relaxed as you could wish for. Great breakfast, shower, bed. And fantastic value too. We didn't arrive till 7.30pm ish, and the weather was bad, so we didn't bother knocking first to arrange the allocated parking....
