The hotel breathes quality and style from the moment you step inside the doors. The afternoon tea is delicious and nicely balanced between sandwiches and cakes/cookies. The dinner was quite nice and well put together, but nothing mind-blowing.

Beautiful hotel overlooking the lake, nice rooms, lovely food and superb service. Was here for a business meeting, wished I could have stayed longer and explored more as to say the town is quaint is an understatement. It's now on the list to return to!

Spectacular hotel on a lake with a fabulous restaurant (the food is similar to Chez Panisse in Berkely) and accommodating staff. One of the waiters even happily helped us get our rental van into reverse!! The receptionist was cordial and most helpful also - The complimentary breakfast was delicious with a large variety of beautifully presented foods....

Wonderful place nice low key design but just a little English red in a cover of a chair or door would make it more enjoyable. Swedes that grey is simple beauty and think that foregneirs find it exotic but no its depressing. Spa simple but beautiful and so relaxing and homish feeling. Afternoon tea is exellent the scones melt in...

This is not the first time we stay here, and it's always great coming coming back. The hotel atmosphere is very relaxing, with toned-down decoration and very friendly, attentive service. Dinner in the restaurant is great, breakfast is fantastic. Of course, the views help too. Even though most of the guests tend to be grown-up couples, bringing the kids work...

A great version of contemporary viking design with great views. Looking out onto th slake when dining is uplifting. Coffee with open fires around is a pleasure. The food was excellent and sourced from local farms, loved it.

This is a very nice hotel. Old fashion decoration and service is top quality. The rooms are tastefully decorated to period style but still maintain the modern luxuries. The best way to describe the breakfast is to say it's Amazing. Great choice and great produce. I will come back here again and again and again and again. Hands down -...

Some reviewers, I believe coming from oversees, might have been less aware of Swedish culture and habits (such as taking the after dinner coffee and desert in a comfortable lounge and not sitting ages at your table, or not being offered help with baggage - it is never offered, but we all can ask, can we?). Twice I went for...

We arrived in Sigtuna after a short drive from the airport (and what a super experience THAT was). We were greeted by wonderful hosts and shown to our room. The hotel is minimal and understated with muted tones. Personally, I love the style but I do think an opportunity to add a luxurious touch has been missed. The room appointment...
