La Orotava is a truly authentic town and the Hotel Victoria is a great refuge from the package-travel fortresses that you find elsewhere on the island. Service is very friendly, kind, and professional (we were even given the opportunity to chose between two rooms upon arrival). The views from the hotel are delightful. We had a room on the upper...

Absolutely the tops. Staff friendly. Food excellent. Location couldn't be bettered. the room beyond expectations (ask for the one with the sun terrace!). Great value for money. Two considerations: you need a sat nav to find it and parking is pretty hit and miss.

Okay, if I was merely ranking this place based on location, staff friendliness, and beauty, it would get more than a 3 from me. However, this is a hotel so I have to also take into account how comfortable the bed was, how fluffy the towels were, and how clean the room was. This is where it goes to a...

Nice place and very well located in the city. The restaurant is absolutely top class and really value for money! The place is old and therefore dark inside. More lights needed! You here your neighbors very well and also noice from the street. New carpets would be nice too!

We - a couple of two (53,53) - stayed in the hotel for one week in January 2017. We booked it via booking.com. * positive - nice location in the middle of the old town. La Orotava is quite charming, compared to other places of the island. - nice atmosphere of the hotel building - friendly and attentive staff -...

Really enjoyed a 3-course lunch menu here for only €10.50 including a glass of wine. Was excellent value, tasty food and you can tell it had been cooked with care. Presented beautifully and great service. One of our best meals in Tenerife.

Very good first impression, beautiful building and entrance hall and friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was quite basic but adequate. The hotel benefits from a lovely terrace with great views of the town which we would have used more in the evenings if it had been a bit warmer. Great location for accessing restaurants and shops on level ground as...

We love La Orotava and were happy to discover this quaint hotel. Its traditional Canarian decor, with a pretty interior patio, is so pretty. We had a basic double room that was spacious and comfortable enough. A bit old fashioned but not disturbingly so. The staff are welcoming and very accommodating. Breakfast was sufficient but not particularly good and the...

The best thing about this hotel is the address, the historic facade and one of the friendly receptionist/waiters. The front of the hotel is impressive and architecturally important in this wonderfully baronial town of La Orotava. The interior is less impressive and the alterations to and internalisation of the traditional patio and the thoughtless installation of a bar are unfortunate....
