Guests are captivated by the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife's vibrant atmosphere, enhanced by an array of live music and entertainment, even if a few find it overly loud. The amenities, including diverse pools and delicious dining options, are frequently praised, although some guests mention steep prices and crowded moments. Despite the occasional noise complaint and mixed reviews on room cleanliness, the accommodations are generally celebrated for their comfort. Service is lauded for its cordiality and effectiveness, while the hotel's secluded location draws both appreciation and criticism from those preferring closer proximity to action.

This is the best resort in Tenerife, especially if you have children ! The staff are amazing, the facilities are the best and the food is 10/10, I highly recommend Rock Royalty, the concierge service is so good and the Rock Royalty Lounge is such a lovely place to have a quiter breakfast, it's also fine to take children, there was a lot of children in there while we were there, all very well behaved but it's not too stuffy, nice relaxed atmosphere.

Can't fault Sessions, the food is fab and there's definitely something for everyone, honestly this place is so good and I'm very fussy.

Just returned from a weeks holiday at the Hard Rock following recommendations from a few friends. This was our first family holiday with our 5 month old son and can highly recommend the Hard Rock. We booked a Gold Room all inclusive via Jet2 (no suites available) but wanted a suite to have extra space with the baby so upgraded on arrival, this cost €350 which was more than Jet2 but I’m glad we did as having the extra space with a baby was really helpful. The hotel and grounds are excellent, the hotel was very clean and tidy with 4 choices of pools, a children’s pool (really warm for little ones), two large ‘general pools’ and one adults only with a swim up bar. We spent each day by the main pool next to our tower as it was convenient for the pool bar, kids pool and easy to get back to our room. There are loads of sun beds and getting one was never a problem, they have daybeds, cabanas and clamshell type beds which were excellent for the baby, and these were usually all gone by 09.30 but we were up early so got one most of the time. The standard of the food in the pool bar for lunch was really good, chicken Caesar salad was lovely, and pub grub type meals of burgers, nachos, hot dogs and pizzas, not exactly high class dining, but tasty and filling. Breakfast and evening meal we ate in the buffet (sessions) restaurant, food was decent overall for large scale buffet catering, plenty of choice for all ages covering the usual range of pizzas, Chinese, pasta, chefs freshly preparing fish, lots of starter options, soups, and desserts, there really was a huge selection. The food wasn’t always hot and freshly cooked, but in terms of being crowd pleasing and tasty they do a pretty good job. The all inclusive package was great for us with a baby as it made life easy, the wine choice was really good quality for all inclusive (Rioja, Rioja Rose and Spanish Chardonnay) the cocktails were good, and the range of spirits on offer was pretty good, covering branded spirits. Our suite was lovely, (20722) spacious, clean and well appointed with a ‘side sea view’ but had a great view of the sea and the mountains and from the 7th floor a lovely view across the other hotels and over to the ‘bright lights’ of PDLA (a comfortable distance away). The area of Paraiso is being developed and there’s a new shopping centre a 15-20 minute walk away, there are a few shops and restaurants locally and a hyperdino supermarket (directly opposite the hotel) and pharmacy within 5 minutes walk. We found these useful for nappies and milk powder for the baby. Staff were very helpful prior to the holiday via email and provided us with a travel cot and steam steriliser on request. We really enjoyed our stay and I would certainly recommend the Hard Rock to anyone, especially for families.

We visited the HRH at beginning of Feb and what a welcome. A host greeted us on the door and directed us to the check in desk. A lot of people came in at same time as us and we had to wait for a while as the que wasn’t going down someone came from the guest services and took us across to book us in. We felt very welcome, as we were 1/2 board we got our bracelet which was a great idea- this was your room key and charge key for drinks and food in hotel. You also used this for the al carte restaurant to receive 30 euros off your meal. We booked the restaurants as soon as we arrived as they get full quickly. We did only use the Italian in hotel which was fantastic. You felt like a very special guest.
Rooms cleaned daily and very roomy they are sound proof except and we made use of the Bose speaker which was great touch.
The hotel had some entertainment at night but being out of season limited.
The professionalism of all the staff in the hotel was brilliant and we would definitely return in the future.
Pools fab also we stay at Nevada pool opens at 10 and clean towels available daily it did get a bit busy at times, the waiter service for drinks and food great also.
Supermarket great across road also for snacks and drinks.

Travelled as family of four, two children aged 7 & 9. First off the hotel was and looked Fabulous!! Bed & breakfast only.
We stayed in a silver suite which was very spacious, one double bed & one sofa bed, the room had a room divider slide door so we could shut off the kids when needed 😂. The bathroom had a whirlpool spa bath 😊 & separate shower & 2 wash basins. Hair dryer, iron & board all supplied in room. Cleaning service was 5* no problems.

We loved the beach club with the lagoon pool, pool towels available with use of towel cards (which are issued at check-in) no queues or hassle. Pool bar was great, fast & friendly service.

Kids games room is fantastic I loved it too 😁 there is a play area, mini golf, basketball court, lots to keep little ones entertained.

Location of the hotel is in a very quiet place not much to do. So travelling out is a must.

We only dined once at one of the hotel restaurants. Food and service ok. We found other restaurants in walking distance which were great, we would highly recommend Indian Spice the food was amazing, great friendly service too. We also went to Playa de las Americas, for evenings out & shopping 🛍. Very welcoming everywhere we went, people friendly. Plenty of restaurants, bars, shops etc....we went by taxi which cost about 16-18 euros each way.

As we are a mixed race family, sadly we did experience some level of discomfort (and that’s me being nice) not from the hotel staff, but from some other guests staying at the hotel 😔 which is why we spent most evenings away from the hotel.

We did however enjoy the spectacular New Years Eve party, Hard Rock staff & entertainment gave a wonderful experience, from the party bags, free drinks, music & fireworks we all loved it ♥️

We loved the hotel and the experience but unfortunately next time when in Tenerife we would prefer to stay in playa de las Americas.

The hotel and staff are brilliant, both my wife and I (and probably our 1 year old daughter) said we want to come back, which is testament enough I say.
We stayed in a silver room, the most basic I think, of the options, but it was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. The bose stereo was a bonus. Towels and toiletries, a kettle, with tea and coffee, and a fridge for milk, water, etc. The separate wine fridge got a lot of use too :-)
We went the week before half term and it wasn't too busy. This meant that the waiting staff had spare time to chat and play with our little one, who loved the attention. High chairs available in all restaurants. We ate in the buffet evening morning and evening except once when we used the 30 euro credit per person to dine in the Japanese a la carte restaurant. They had some teppenyaki tables and the chef was entertaining everyone with flipping knives and food all over the place. The food quality overall was excellent. The buffet changed some dishes each night to keep it interesting, and we all ate very well.
We stayed half board, which was ideal for us. We bought drinks and snacks from the bars but there are also a few bars and a supermarket just outside the hotel. Food and drink in the hotel is pricey 4.50 for a pint of beer. 9 for a cocktail. Meals about 15 to 25. All very nice though. A beer in the bars up the road is around 2 euro. There isn't much else in the area but a bus stop right outside can take to around the island. The baby pool was great for our little one, but we loved the beach club pool area best. The pool is huge, and heated, sometimes it was so warm in the water I was sweating!
The roof top bar on the 16th floor provides great views, and the glass fronted lift that takes you up there is fun.
Kids club is pretty cool too, with console gaming, pool table, and drumkit, which I couldn't resist having a bishbashbosh on.
We'll be going back as soon as we can.

Very cool hotel, great décor from the moment you walk in. Airy and spotless throughout. Very much a music themed hotel, amazing pictures and memorabilia. The room was excellent, we had a view across and down the street but in the evening we had sun on our third floor balcony. Bathroom was spotless , two basins and a tidy shower, no bath but did us fine. Twin beds were excellent so comfy, great sleep as we had a range of pillows / cushions to sort out your preference.Booking in by Ivy was a pleasure, she kept saying relax, your here now, enjoy. Dennis showed us to room, luggage brought up for us, demonstrated all the amenities including the Bose sound system which made some use of all week. He then showed me the ice machine down the corridor, very handy, used my ice bucked quite a bit. Breakfast and dinner were a treat, you could eat inside or out on the veranda. Paula in the morning was very good, first port of call was the orange juice, two glasses of bubbly and water. loads to choose from, fresh fruit, smoothies, eggs anyway you want, bacon ,sausage etc, you name it, they have it. really enjoyed breakfast. In the evening great choice again, first class. Christina greeted us with a pleasant smile, Amanda worked so hard to get us anything we needed, Alberto also noticeable by his high work rate, great staff, makes it all so good. If you like live background music at breakfast this is for you, ranging from guitar soloist to a keyboard genius. Main pool had children but plenty of great sunbeds, the adult only pool down below had a swim up bar with again sunbeds half in the water. you walked on down to the Beach club where the pool was quite large and it looked geared up for major entertainment in the summer as it had a large stage area. Although quite a few steps we found using the lifts we could count most of them out. To finish off a great holiday to give you an example of attention to detail, I sat and watched the bar manager on the veranda line all the tables and chairs up on the same line on the floor after breakfast. Impressed as I haven't seen that in years. Some place!!

We only had a few days for a holiday as we run a pub so I decided to book here and took advantage of an upgrade to Rock Royalty Suite, their top floor suite. Right next to the Royalty Lounge. What can I say other than "Wow!"
We have stayed in some amazing hotels in our time, including the Venetian in Vegas and none of them came close to the luxury we have in this suite. Just everything about it, the small touches etc made it so relaxing and luxurious. It even has a toilet seat that automatically opens when you enter the toilet and the seat is heated!
The spa bath was enormous and the views out of the window when you are in it are breathtaking.
We used the spa which was okay, not as good as we thought it would be but still enjoyable, especially the snow room which I may add is better when you have shoes on! My bad.
We will definitely return to this hotel and only a 20 euro taxi ride to playa las americas if you want a more vibrant nightlife otherwise a place to relax and enjoy a quieter resort.

I’m writing this as a Jet2 all inclusive holiday maker. That’s important for you to know, as if you are too, you won’t have access to all of the facilities within the hotel.
That said we had a great time once we’d got our heads around what we could and couldn’t do.
There is a separate list of what drinks and food AI customers can access - not extensive but adequate. Your wristband is scanned to ensure that you are only having what you are allowed and anything else is charged to your room. To use the a la carte restaurants, you have a 30 Euro credit per person – it was unclear if that included drinks. That was tight for a full meal in some of the restaurants. Also, you have to book in advance. I’m vegan so we didn’t use them and were happy with the quality and variety in the main buffet area. This did get quite busy so I can appreciate that during high season it may become rammed in there.
The hotel is quite big, spread over two towers with extensive gardens and three pool areas. We spent our time at the adults only pool where there were many sunbeds and waiter service around the pool. Gladys was particularly helpful and friendly, as was the guy with the pony tail but I can’t remember his name. The pool was heated which was really good for a January stay.
Jet2 AI customers get one entrance to the Spa which is lovely but you have to book in advance.
We paid for the upgrade to a Gold suite but I can’t say how there would be any difference between that and a silver.. We were on the 5th floor with a side sea view. The room was large and well equipped. I agree with other comments that it is a bit weird having the toilet straight off the bedroom and the cubicle is very small – not great if you were claustrophobic. The shower on the other hand was massive and really powerful.
You have to pay to have drinks in the 16th floor rooftop cocktail bar but definitely worth it for the fabulous sunset and live music. Cocktails were 11 Euros and you can pay in cash or charge to your room.
Entertainment is pretty low key but that might be because it was low season. There were singers at night in Reception. You can also go in the Sports Bar for food and drinks.
There isn’t a lot going on outside the hotel but if you’re not AI then it is worth having a trip to the purple bar opposite for some cocktails.
All staff were friendly and appreciative of any tips whilst not expecting them. The grounds staff and housekeeping do a fantastic job of keeping the whole site spotlessly clean and well presented.
I think I would go again in low season but would either go Rock Royalty to have access to everything or stick with AI and not pay for the upgrade.

The title says it all - and this is a very belated review of a holiday in March. Two weeks: 8 days not in lock down and then the final 6 after Spain declared their State of Alarm

Overall, we can’t fault the facilities and staff at this amazing hotel. Having previously visited Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya and other hotels owned by Palladium Group in Ibiza we had high hopes and these were met. The hotel has great staff and facilities and the all inclusive is definitely worth it - with the credit being used in the a la carte restaurants and beach club a great benefit!

The Italian was great on both visits with super friendly service from Brenda and the team. We enjoyed the Asian twice too, and again at the Teppenyaki table and a couple of quick bites at the sports bar. Lunch was mostly eaten at The Beach Club which had a great terrace and a selection of healthy options.

The reception bar had entertainment on every night, during the first week, and quick efficient service at your seat from the bar team.

Everywhere was spotlessly clean and well looked after, and the pool areas spacious with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas.

Ironically, everything in the hotel was SO good that we only willingly left the building once during the first week before the rumour mill started, the planes were turned back and then the lockdown began. I won’t dwell on it too much, as fingers crossed this will be a once in a lifetime, never to be repeated situation. However, the staff did a great job of keeping going, as they dealt with many people facing uncertain situations and began to close down the hotel around us, until... we were the last people to leave, as the hotel was boarded up and the staff left as our transfer collected us.

We must call out the staff who were there until the end - the service never faltered, and they made the last few days happy and fun with their great attitudes. We hope they can all get back to normal very soon :D

What a two weeks! It’s an amazing hotel with great facilities, and one not to be missed!

Hopefully a revisit is on the cards for 2021!!

Overall we enjoyed our stay even though literally everything was restricted.
We paid to upgrade to a suite that was very nicely decorated & spacious, we stayed for ten nights over the Christmas period & we were happy with the cleanliness, teams of workers cleaning throughout the day & spraying sun beds etc outside, unfortunately various pools opened & closed during our stay, the sports bar remained closed & various entertainment was cancelled (outdoor cinema) etc.
We felt the management of the hotel needed to up their game as we witnessed several walking around during the day, having meetings etc whilst front facing staff didn’t seem to know what was happening from day to day.
Whenever we visited the reception to ask questions they just had a sheet of paper to read off each day which seemed very unprofessional & gave us the impression they were making it up as they went along.
We were regularly told to refer to “the app” but found that was never updated which just frustrated us, if you are going to direct guest to the app then at least have a member of staff dedicated to updating it !
The staff in the restaurant were very friendly both morning & evening and each time we found the food of good standard but again the management seemed to intervene all the time, we had the toaster machine moved four mornings on the trot so it just confused people where to go & made it hard work to get what we wanted, initially it was self service but then changed to being served whilst trying to tell the server what you wanted from underneath a mask & behind a plastic screen.
Other restaurants weren’t available during our stay but we did get to visit the steak restaurant one night which was enjoyable.
Drink prices were very expensive !
One night we had two single Baileys for 12e but then managed to get a full bottle from the local shop for 10e.
A Pint of beer was 5.5e so we often went across the road to the Eldon house pub for the same beer at 1.5e a pint.
To summarise the staff were hardworking which we really appreciated but we would love to visit again in the future when everything was open and available once back to normal.

Dear leecumbo, We are pleased to know that we have lived up to your expectations and that you have enjoyed a good stay with us. Unfortunately we are having many changes in our facilities due to the security measures established and we try to solve all this as best we can. We regret that the application with which we are currently working has not worked well, with it we try to avoid greater contact between customers and the staff. Despite all this, we take your comments into account and we hope to have you again with us to ensure that you have an unforgettable experience. Best regards, CUSTOMER MANAGER HRHT

We always like to explore the local area and go out in the evenings, however there are very few bars/restaurants within walking distance. We were all inclusive plus and were glad of it.
