The H10 Atlantic Sunset Horizons Collection hotel garners praise for its spacious, modern, and impeccably clean rooms, set within a stylish atmosphere that includes quality evening entertainment. Despite some reports of noise and service issues, guests have called out the luxurious amenities, such as the variety of pools and the exclusive Privilege service, enhancing their stay.
However, reviewers warn of value concerns, citing additional costs and overpriced services. The hotel's tranquil location is popular for its picturesque settings, although it is somewhat remote.

We’re approaching the final day for our 10 night stay here at the H10 Atlantic Sunset Hotel. The experience here has been absolutely fantastic.
Pro’s:
- The hotel is immaculately well kept. There are always members of staff pottering around cleaning, etc. It’s absolutely spotless throughout the entire hotel.
- The pool’s are meticulously well maintained. Every day you see members of staff doing tests to ensure it’s fit for use, etc. The Rooftop Infinity Pool (Privilege Area) is breath taking.
- All drinks are made with top shelf spirits, no cheap alcohol in this hotel at all. Beer’s are always freezing, all soft drinks are bottled and branded. Coco-Cola, Sprite, Fanta etc.
- The food in The View (Privilege Area) is amazing. The waiting staff are always on hand for any request. A special mention to Natalie who made our holiday. She’s absolutely brilliant at her job and me and my partner loved her. Staff are always offering fresh orange juice, coffee’s etc. The Central Matket Buffet is also great quality. Lot’s of fresh carved meats. Can’t fault it. The Circle Pool Bar is also worth a mention because the quality for a snack bar is really high end. There’s enough to try something every day / night and not get boring.
- We opted for the Privilege Service, it’s a little more expensive but is 100% worth it. The Rooftop Infinity Pool I mentioned earlier is worth the extra money by itself. The bar up there is fantastic with a selection of beers, cocktails, spirits and soft drinks. You get extra bits and pieces such as access to the spar for an hour a day and discounted rates, etc.
- The Room is so comfortable and clean also, the bed in the Privilege Building is absolutely perfect. So comfortable and a selection of pillows.
Con’s:
- One fault is the timing of the cleaning service, it seems to be late afternoon when you’re winding down and relaxing before your evening meal. There was once or twice when we were woken up from a member of staff offering us chocolate and water or to fill the mini bar.
- Upon arrival we were seated in reception, offered a glass of champagne (fine by us) and our suitcases were taken away. We checked in etc and walked to our room, assuming our cases had been taken by staff to find they hadn’t, when I called the reception the guy on the phone said something along the lines of “You will have to come and get them because I’m with a customer.” In my experience, I wouldn’t have my staff answering the phone if they are customer facing. Nothing major but having to walk all the way back to the reception to retrieve our cases which were taken off us when we arrived was a bit of a pain. Nothing worth complaining over though, just giving some insight to the hotel for future reference.
We’re booked back up for next year already! Can’t wait!

We stayed at the hotel from 2nd - 13th July 2023 and our stay was perfect! From the second we arrived and a member of the team helped us with our bags to the best wishes as we left, the hotel was welcoming and professional, and the staff were some of the loveliest people we'd ever met. But not to jump ahead...
We began communicating with the hotel in April 2023. The trip was our much belated honeymoon and we decided to renew our wedding vows. From the minute we started speaking to Noemi Riggi in Guest Relations, it was clear that she understood how much everything meant to us and no detail was beyond her notice. She literally could not have done more before or during our holiday to make it more special.
Our room (3418) was one of the Privilege Suites located in the third of the three residential buildings. It was a corner room located on the fourth floor, left hand side of the building as you look towards the sea. It had a corner wrap-around balcony with amazing views of the sea and mountains - it's the opposite version of the one photographed on the website. We could open our windows day and night and hear the waves - it was perfect. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with plenty of storage space and hangers! On arrival it was beautifully decorated by Noemi with balloons and rose petals, and we had a bottle of champagne to start our 10 day celebration.
We ate in all the restaurants, with the exception of Route 66 and again... cannot emphasise enough how welcoming and friendly the team (under the watchful eye of Cristo) were. Whilst I understand people's views that the menus could vary on a week 1 and week 2 basis to add more variety during longer stays, we thoroughly enjoyed the food. It was well-prepared and presented beautifully. My husband took great pleasure in sampling the daily specials created by Manuel at The View restaurant and we also went back repeatedly to Stromboli. I can definitely recommend "Central Market" for lunch, amazing salad and dessert bars - Banessa took great care of us!
As I mentioned we renewed our Wedding Vows at the hotel during our stay. Noemi had already recommended a private dinner and moonlit swim (Infinity Package) at the rooftop infinity pool as part of the celebrations, however she then arranged for the ceremony to be there also. The sunbeds were cleared away and an aisle was created with tealights and rose petals. From the attached picture you can see the archway decorated with flowers. The whole ceremony officiated by Andreas Fischer and we had the hotel photographers taking informal photos, whilst Noemi kindly videoed it. The team were so discreet we were able to focus just on the ceremony and both the photos and videos were FANTASTIC!
Our evening meal, watching the sun go down over the Atlantic, was amazing, and we were taken special care of by Yanira and Victor who we then saw regularly after that, and who always greeted us with a warm smile and even a hug on occasion!! :-)
OK so back to the review... Whilst we had access to the Privilege Lounge which we used before dinner, we would go up to the lobby bar after dinner. The live music, especially the Elton John Tribute night, was excellent. Khalid, Lucian and the rest of the bar team always made us feel very welcome and special... even going so far as to making us an "off-menu" cocktail that we particularly liked... "After Eights"!
The layout of the hotel is very clever and whilst the hotel was full, we did not experience any noise from the other guests, the family pools or the nearby Hard Rock Hotel until the very last night... and I'm guessing this was mainly down to the school holidays and therefore, more entertainment noise and younger guests.
And if you get a chance, do go to the spa! It was heaven!!
If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday where you are made to feel special every day, we cannot recommend H10 Sunset Atlantic, out of school holidays, enough and we cannot WAIT to go back.
Just a few additional "shout-outs" to the H10 team who literally could not have done more to make our holiday special, Cristo's team - Rayco, Diego, Jony, Santiago, Nestor, Jude, Abdullah and Alessandra to name but a few.

We stayed at H10 Atlantic Sunset as a family of four (two adults, two children) and had a fantastic time. The hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of quality, service, and cleanliness, making it a great choice for an ultimate, relaxing getaway.
Service: Friendly & Efficient
The staff at H10 Atlantic Sunset deserve a special mention – they were always friendly, helpful, and somehow always a step ahead. They made everything feel effortless.
Food: A Battle Between Willpower and Buffets
The food was excellent – so much so that any thoughts of “eating light” quickly disappeared. The breakfast spread alone could have been a vacation highlight. I attempted to show some restraint but cracked by day three when we discovered the churros and hot chocolate station. The themed restaurants were also great, with the Japanese teppanyaki experience being one of the favorites.
Rooms and Cleanliness: Impeccable
Our room was spacious, modern, and cleaned so well each day that we started joking about setting small traps just to see if housekeeping was actually human. The entire hotel was spotless, from the restaurants to the pool areas. Even the kids noticed, which says something.
Pools: Where the Real Chaos Happens
The pools were a big highlight, especially for the kids. With multiple pools to choose from, we were spoiled for choice. The infinity pool had breathtaking views, but the kids were all about the splash park and that’s where we stationed ourselves for majority of the sunny days in Tenerife.
Final Thoughts
H10 Atlantic Sunset delivered everything we hoped for – a high standard of service, excellent food, and a relaxing atmosphere, all wrapped up in a spotless, well-maintained hotel. It’s a place that balances luxury with family-friendly comfort, and we’d definitely return. Next time, though, we might enforce a strict one-dessert-per-person rule. (Who am I kidding? That’s never going to happen.) Last thing worth mention is the Flamenco performance at the La Boite Bar we saw during our stay - a truly amazing experience.

Dear Jakub J, Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and wonderfully written review of your stay at H10 Atlantic Sunset Horizons Collection. It is truly a pleasure to read about your experience, and we are delighted that we exceeded your expectations in terms of quality, service, and cleanliness. We greatly appreciate your kind words about our team, they take great pride in providing friendly and attentive service, and knowing that their efforts made your stay effortless is incredibly rewarding. Your description of the food experience made us smile! We are thrilled that you enjoyed our breakfast selection, themed restaurants, and, of course, the irresistible churros and hot chocolate. We completely understand how difficult it can be to resist! Cleanliness is one of our top priorities, and we are glad to hear that it stood out to you (and even to the kids!). Our housekeeping team will be delighted to know their hard work was noticed and appreciated. It’s wonderful that your family made the most of our pools, from the stunning infinity pool to the fun-filled splash park. Creating a balance between relaxation and family fun is exactly what we aim for, so it’s fantastic to know you found that during your stay. We also appreciate your mention of the Flamenco performance at La Boîte Bar—it truly is a special experience, and we’re so happy you enjoyed it. We would be honored to welcome you back in the future. And while we fully support your one-dessert-per-person rule, we suspect the temptation will win again next time! Best regards, Rosario Díaz Guest Experience Manager

My initial impressions were that the hotel and room were lovely. I paid extra for a swim up room which I wouldn't advise to do as it is a waste of money as the sun is only on the patio area for a few hours in the morning. We purchased floats so we could sunbathe in the water with the float wedged against the side. On the 2nd day we were told that floats weren't allowed. I understand this rule in the main pool due to the danger of a life guard not being able to see a child in distress. However, small children were not allowed in the swim up rooms so this shouldn't have been an issue. The hotel staff were quick to implement the no floats rule but not so quick to tell the parents and their small children entering the private pool from the main pool by lifting the dividing rope. Customer services went out of their way to call the room to repeat the message about the floats. I told them I wasn't very happy with the money paid out for a facility that we couldn't fully use. I asked if we could have access to the privileged area (not the extra facilities) pool only to which they said I could for an extra 44 Euro per day, each. They did not try to resolve any issues with us until I left a review after being prompted by the hotel, via email. Only then did they try to resolve the issue however, they were still not forthcoming with offer access to the other pool or even an extension to the room on the last day as we had a late flight. They offered to switch rooms but only on the last day which was not worth the move. The call was very frustrating and a complete waste of time. A couple of minutes later they called back and offered a free lunch for 2 on our last day. We accepted as they were obviously unwilling to offer anything to resolve the pool issue. We attended lunch and were served with drinks. My daughter asked for a second drink on two separate occasions but neither drink was brought. A slip of paper was left on the table which made me think it was a possible signal that only one drink was allowed, either that or the service was just really bad. On our last day we had booked the room for changing and showering in. The room was booked for between 4pm - 4.30pm. At 4.19 we received a loud knock on the door with a member of the cleaning staff insisting we leave. It was frustrating that an expensive holiday was tarnished by poor customer service and unfair advertising in respect of the room. I will not stay in this hotel again.

Dear MCD11111, Thank you for taking the time to give us your detailed feedback on your recent stay at H10 Atlantic Sunset. We are glad to hear that you found the hotel and your room delightful, and we appreciate your positive comments about our welcoming atmosphere. Within the swim-up rooms, we understand that the float policy was a disappointment to you. At the H10 Atlantic Sunset, we enforce this policy at all of our pools to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests. While we recognize that this may have affected your enjoyment of the swim-up room, our primary concern is always the well-being of everyone in the hotel. We also regret that your experience with our customer service did not meet your expectations. We strive to address all guest concerns promptly and effectively, and it appears that we failed to do so during your stay. Your comments on the service provided, will be reviewed with our team to improve our future interactions with guests. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us to improve our services. If you would like more information about your experience, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back and provide you with a more satisfying experience in the future. Yours sincerely, Rosario Díaz Guest Experience Manager

We are currently just finishing our holiday here at the H10 and we have had a lovely stay and will definitely be returning.
We did a last minute upgrade to Privilege after reading many reviews about it and I am so glad we did. I will now add to these reviews and urge people to upgrade if you can.
We loved the privilege restaurant and having a la carte breakfast and dinners. This was the main reason for us to upgrade as we did not want to go to the buffet every day. The food in the Privilege restaurant was fantastic, so well presented and delicious food.
We have dined at the Italian which is also lovely and Route 66 which was not a favourite and we would only go there once. It’s not to say Route 66 is bad, it just wasn’t to our taste and more of a “fast” food vibe.
The drinks in the Privilege lounge are great, I wasn’t expecting such a good choice of spirits and it is very well laid out and stocked throughout the day. We aren’t big drinkers so having a couple of drinks here during the day is perfect for us and therefore the Half Board package worked well and we didn’t require all inclusive.
Water is included during the day, there’s a water station in the pool bar and the rooftop bar will also fill bottles or have cups of water. The cones of crisps and nuts are a welcome snack :)
We did have a slight issue with our room. We were in a junior suite - room 3201 and there was a constant noise (like a generator noise) which never stopped. After a couple of days I asked about it, and it wasn’t something that could be fixed so the only option was to be moved rooms. Unfortunately, they didn’t have another suite available but could move us to a double room and credit the difference. It wasn’t an ideal scenario to have to repack and move but I’m glad we did as the noise was very annoying. I hope this gets sorted for future guests and thank you to guest relations for helping sort the issue.
The rooftop pool is absolutely stunning, peaceful and the service from the lady on the rooftop is great. She’s so friendly and happy and it’s lovely to see her each day :)
The kids club and splash park is really nice, although the splash pool could be warmer. The pools areas have plenty of sunbeds and we’ve not had any issue going to any pool and getting beds.
A trip to Fañabe beach is well worth it for a change of scenery.
We’ve had a fantastic stay, service in all restaurants has been great and to find a nice clean, modern, well run hotel with excellent food which ticks all the boxes is sometimes hard to find but we’ve found a great one here and will be back. Thanks H10

Superb hotel in one of the most overcrowed and touristy place on earth. The H10 Atlantic Sunset team was great from start to end - kind, amicable, professional, knowledgeable and very smart. We got the swim-up room - wow, one of the best designs we encountered while travelling. You can choose the room safely, it will be very nice. And the enter directly into the swimming pool is very nicely designed. The food was ok towards very good. It was excellent in the Asian live cooking style restaurant, in the Stromboli one and in the The View Privilege one. Th food was always fresh, cleeanly and professionally prepared. The all inclusive restaurant (Central Market), at least during our stay, never got overcrowded even though the hotel was fully booked. The hotel team was always present everywhere on the premises helping guests, maintaining the public spaces and being the best they can. Kudos to the team, really some of the best hotel representatives I've met.

Summary: Better options available for the money. 6 out of 10 Allocated a room on North Side facing the Hard Rock Hotel which is in shade till late on. I had requested a room on the South side to take advantage of the early Morning Sun. Changing rooms was very laborious and exemplified the overly buricratic atmosphere in general , in that you are treated as a number on a computer rather then a individual guest. The dining/canteen area is patrolled by staff who’s only apparent aim is to clear plates as quick as possible, if you take a break from eating the bland , lukewarm food from a slow buffet, they will wisk the plates and glasses away. I sat down to eat and and was asked if I would like a drink , I asked for a glass of tap water and was asked to sign for € 1.50 charge ! Good points is the surprisingly free shuttle to Los Cristianos @ 20 mins, 11.30 out 17.30 back , saving € 25 taxi one way. Alternatively 471 bus for € 2.50 takes about 1 hour Found a canny little bar with good atmosphere opposite the Hard Rock entrance @ € 5 taxi Bedrooms were very clean and well serviced.

Our stay at the Atlantic Sunset H10 Hotel in Tenerife was simply fantastic and exceeded all our expectations. From the breathtaking location overlooking the sunset to the outstanding care provided by the staff, especially Ms. Maare Sepp, every moment was a pleasure.
The hotel itself is characterized by its modern design, first-class facilities and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are tastefully furnished, spacious and offer spectacular views of the surroundings. The cleanliness and care in all areas of the hotel are impressive and contribute significantly to a pleasant stay.
However, the excellent care provided by Ms. Maare Sepp to guests deserves special mention. Her friendliness, professionalism and attention to guests made our stay unforgettable. She always responded to individual requests, gave valuable tips for local activities and ensured that we felt completely at home.
The gastronomic offering in the hotel is also remarkable. The variety and quality of the dishes spoiled our taste buds. The restaurants in the hotel offer something for every taste and help to ensure that no culinary wishes are left unfulfilled.
The wellness area and the pool area are further highlights that contribute to relaxation and recuperation. The various offers and treatments leave nothing to be desired and contribute to an all-round successful holiday.
Overall, we can fully recommend the Atlantic Sunset H10 Hotel and would like to thank Ms. Maare Sepp and the entire team again for their excellent care. We are already looking forward to our next visit to this wonderful hotel.
Best wishes from Munich

The good: beautiful buildings, great rooms, heated swimming pools, you can take water and sparkling water for free at the pool. Very nice sea views.
The bad: overpriced, i waited for 75 minutes at reception at their stated check-in time (kept telling me the room would be ready in 10 minutes), the windows in the room were not very clean, you have to reserve breakfast and dinner times and download their app to do so (in terms of privacy, quite the intrusion). The gym is open 24 hours but although they state it is not allowed to enter for anyone under 16, someone should tell this to the mums who are clearly prepping their daughters for an Instagram career.
The food: mediocre buffet food and in order to reach it you have to do battle daily with people who fill up their plates like there is no tomorrow. Some of the eggs were reheated which can give crazy stomach aches.
Given the price I paid for this trip I can safely say I won’t be going back.

Dear SteveDeVylder, We are truly sorry to read your review, as we find it unfair considering the continuous attention from the Guest Experience team throughout your stay, and your feedback indicating that everything was eventually resolved to your satisfaction. As you are aware, check-in at our hotel starts at 3:00 PM, but this doesn’t necessarily mean exactly at 3:00. As we informed you, there was a delay, for which we sincerely apologized, and we offered a courtesy gift, which you declined on two occasions. Additionally, we made a great effort to mitigate the inconvenience by offering you late check-out to compensate for the slightly delayed room delivery. Unfortunately, this could not be enjoyed due to your early flight. We would have appreciated more honesty during our call so we could have improved and adjusted our service to meet your expectations. We are deeply saddened by your review and the score, which doesn’t reflect the efforts we made to provide you with the best possible service. We wish you all the best for your future stays and in other hotels. Sincerely, Rosario Díaz Guest Experience Manager

Fantastic hotel. Stayed on Privilege all inclusive board and the food and drinks were exceptional, lots of branded drinks and a great selection of made to order cocktails (no pre mixed cocktails.) Hotel is very clean in all areas and rooms cleaned to a great standard every day with plenty of fresh towels when required. The roof top infinity pool for guests on the Privilege service is a lovely pool that looks out over the Atlantic Ocean. Great cushioned sunbeds throughout all the hotel pools and pool towels provided and can be changed daily if on the privilege service. Staff in the Privilege restaurant couldn’t do enough for you to make all your meals a great experience. A decent a la carte menu to choose from with specials available on some evenings. For lunch there is the choice of the main buffet restaurant or the pool bar where you order from the menu, items like burgers, bao buns, breaded chicken, chips etc. All meals do have to be booked but it is very easy to do once you have the app and your room number. The key for your room is a chip that is in your wrist band so super convenient and you never have to think about picking up your room key, which is a bonus! Location wise the hotel is in a fairly quiet area, Playa Paraiso (The Hard Rock hotel is opposite so around some of the pools you will hear the music from there, but in our room we couldn’t hear it with the patio doors shut.) A taxi from the airport is about €50. All in all we had a wonderful stay on our 2nd visit to this hotel and are already looking to book again next year.

Hi, the hotel has various lifts between the levels, but I must advise that outside of the hotel there are steep walks to the nearest shops or restaurants.

There is the adjacent Paradise beach, but it is really just a rocky cove with no sunbeds. You can swim in the sea by entering from designated access points set on the headland.

The hotel has 8 suites (as opposed to the junior suites). They are on four floor levels but not rooftop, all looking directly out to sea with a large dual aspect balcony.
There are more places to choose from in the Adeje area.
