If you're looking for 4* and 5* luxury then this may not be the place for you but if you're looking for 5* hosts then it certainly is!! Jane and Ian are welcoming, helpful, friendly and entertaining. We particularly enjoyed our breakfasts on the open terrace chatting with our hosts and the other guests swapping stories and exchanging information on...

This is a budget pension and doesn't pretend to be anything else, so is fairly basic in its "fixtures and fittings". However it's right in the middle of all the restaurants and bars, a wonderful location, and also quite a short walk to either the eastern beaches (Burriana etc.) or those to the west (Torrecilla etc.). Hosts Ian and Jane...

Stayed here for 5 nights 1st week October! Right in the heart of Nerja ! Asked for a front room with table and chairs on balcony because we love being in the buzz of it all. Was not bothered by the noise as it only adds to the atmosphere ! Great hosts could not do enough for you. Just ask...

After a 2 year absence I returned to this hostel, this time it was just as a couple;2 years ago there were 6 of us. The hostel was just as we remembered it, Ian and Jane; the owners; were the same as ever, very Yorkshire England(ish).,typical "good fun people". The situation of the hostel is directly on the main street...

Jane and Ian really make this Hostal special, they couldn't help more and are wonderfully friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast here was just perfect and really sets you up for the day, the roof top terrace where it is served is lovely in the mornings. The rooms at the front are right out overlooking...

Had a great 4 night stay here with friends and it was fab. Very Spanish feel and lovely owners. Breakfast were just great; we'd only intended to eat here on the first morning but ended up staying for all four. Central location which does mean a bit of hustle and bustle outside, but just have an extra sangria before bed...

I agree with other reviews! Jane and Ian were absolutely wonderful, looking after me! Nothing was too much trouble for either of them. Ian's breakfasts were a delight - fresh produce prepared and cooked to order even if I was awkward. Their warm welcome was something I haven't had in a hotel. I will be going again. If you want...

Breakfast on the terrace watching the swifts dancing across the morning sky against the backdrop of the mountains is fantastic. Great hosts, with excellent customer service. We had a great weekend Pension Miguel had everything we needed to help...

A few of us stayed with Ian and Jane while in Nerja for a friend's wedding and we had the most wonderful stay. The guesthouse is lovely - a traditional Andulacian townhouse - with simple decor, every comfort you could want and spotlessly clean. Breakfast on the roof terrace is a real treat. A bite to eat with some freshly...

Loved every moment of our 3 night stay. Ian and Jane are the perfect hosts, can't do enough for you, even providing beach towels and a packed lunch for our onward journey. Beds are comfortable, and, after a few drinks and tapas in the nearby bars, a good nights' sleep. I can't praise this place enough. A real gem not...
