Beautiful connection between the past and the present, the place has everything you need at very affordable price. As a Slovenian, I am again fascinated by the hidden treasures Slovenia can offer. Love Ptuj!

You can't possibly ask for more at this price range. Well-equipped rooms, friendly atmosphere, proper stone walls equal quiet nights. It's really close to the city centre still offers convenient parking space. Ptuj is a beautiful small town.

We spent 2 short days in this historic building and found it to have every modern convenience in spite of its age. The owner and his wife were very helpful during our stay. Breakfast was more than adequate. Ptuj is a beautiful town and I would highly recommend you stay here!

We were told about this wonderful, family-owned and restored establishment by friends and were very grateful for the recommendation: it was exactly as described: a lovingly restored house that the family managed to recover after independence and slowly turn into a charming and comfortable bed and breakfast. The owners are extremely helpful, sincere in their efforts to make one's stay...

This family home has been lovingly restored to its early grandeur, while adding modern comforts like air conditioning and warm showers. It's like coming home to a pre-communist Slovenian dwelling, with a warm welcome thrown in. We rented the apartment on the third floor, where we could have made our own breakfast but we preferred to take it instead in...

This is a refurbished old house, lovingly restored by the owners. It is near the river, a few minutes from the centre of the old town. Our room (6) was very comfortable and quiet, with a large private balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. However, in common with all Slovenian hotels, there were no tea making facilities in the bedroom. The...

Lydia and Vladimir gave us the warmest welcome in their beautifully restored house near the riverside of Ptuj. They thoughtfully selected a comfortable room for us and told us all about the town and the region (as a result we stayed 3 nights instead of the 1 that we had planned). Breakfast, served in a vaulted dining room, was a...

This B&B is located near the river in the old town portion of Ptuj. It is close to good restaurants and easy walk to the best of Ptuj and the pedestrian bridge that crosses the river. The owners rebuilt this family house with high quality materials and design. They are very helpful about things to do and see, where to...

I stayed for 3 nights. The room was good size with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. The location is perfect, just half a block off the river in the old town. Lots of hot water, and high count cotton duvets covers and pillows the bed. Plenti parking and the friendly owners a wealth of information speaking good English Great location...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The house is located in the oldest still documented part of Ptuj, in the street Dravska ulica - on the left bank of the river Drava, in immediate proximity to Restauran Ribič. The oldest documents from 1291 name this street “Leather Street”, “vicus cerdonum”. The houses along the street were at the same time leather workshops. The house can be found in the town statute from 1513. Today, it is a cultural monument and has been completely renovated in 2009. Its outer appearance may be simple, but the interior reveals rich content. All rooms and apartments are equipped witch their own bathroom, cable TV and TV set as well as wireless internet. The apartments all have their own kitchen. Our customers have a parking place and a rentabike service at their convenience. Only a few minutes bicycle ride across the pedestrian bridge and then to the right along the river Drava separates you from the thermal park Terme Ptuj. ... more   less
