Great experience! Superb location, quiet, woke up in the morning to the sound of birds and you can have coffee with a view of the Peles Castle Good restaurant with a la carte breakfast and good distancing (they really follow the anti covid measures) and reaaaally accomodating staff The room is basic, we stayed in the attic with low ceilings and small windows overlooking the castle. It was really special. The bathroom fixtures, carpets etc are not new but everything is extremely clean.
A location where we would always return with pleasure ... everything is superlative. I leave the pictures to you ... The food and staff at the location make any stay wonderful. The confectionery and the coffee on the terrace make you relax to the maximum.
Arriving at this hotel I encountered enough parking spaces and it is free too. I stayed in the main building at the very top (room 20) the bathroom overlooks the front court of the hotel and bedroom overlooked the castle but it is difficult to see as high trees obscure it. Very creaky floors and the set up of the room is slightly odd. Basically it consists of 3 spaces. The entrance where two chairs and a small table with coffee maker is located and also the wardrobe. Which also contains slippers and bathrobes. It really is a large corridor. Then there is a small bedroom with minibar. The shower (no bath) room is on the front. Fairly large room but with quite a small shower stall. Very quiet room as it is the attic really. A friend stayed at the Economat part of the hotel and his room was spacious and more standard. With spacious bathroom. Breakfast was included in the rate and was served a la carte but one could choose as many dishes as one wished. The Julius Meinl coffee is strong! Breakfast staff helpful and friendly. Rest of staff I hardly had interactions with. Very nice location. The café at the back with the palace view, although obscured by large trees, is a self service place. Which I thought was slightly odd but it makes sense as used a lot by day tourists visiting the castle. I would recommend this historical and somewhat quaint and quiet hotel.…
We stayed here for 1 night at that weekend and was not disappointed. What a fantastic place the scenery it fab the path takes you straight to the town and the castle is absolutely picture perfect we had the added luck of a clear night and a full moon. The restaurant was very nice thr food good. All in all a very pleasant experience.
The hotel is close to the Peles Castle. This together with the nice building and terraces makes it an excellent choice to stay. It also fix the parking problem because as guest we could park (free) across the hotel. The room was average, but with a nice bathtub. The windows, with trees in front did make the room a bit dark. No view. The breakfast was a la card and fine. The hotel does have a own terrace but the terrace on the other side of the building was for more attractive. We did eat at the restaurant across the hotel. Checking out was did take much time because nobody was there and nobody did react to the bell for a long time. We did pay by booking (Booking.com) but there is an extra Destination fee of 10.67 RON. Access by car is from Marami Hotel GPS 45.357435, 25.540098, at the end of the road continue ignoring the one way sign (it is 30m).…
