This hotel was really great. Terrific value. It has a built-in pub/restaurant with great food and drink. Breakfast the next day was very good as well. We had several separate problems in the room with the outlets not working on and off. The staff was exceptionally accommodating and went out of their way to ensure the problems were resolved quickly...

Stayed here for one night in a large room with 1 double bed, and 1 single bed. Clean bathroom; good showers. Free WiFi only works at the pub. Wide-range of cooked made-to-order breakfast choices. Had excellent dinner, great service, reasonable prices at the pub. Enjoyed our stay.

If you have been hill walking in Co. Wicklow and arrive in Aughrim hungry, this is the place. We had a Sunday lunch there and got full plates of meat or fish with potatoes and all the veg. It's simple, your standard chicken/beef/battered fish choice, and lots of it. It's the kind of hearty food place I think of when...

We have just spent 2 fabulous nights in Lawless s hotel. The bedroom was lovely and comfortable and warm, with option of opening a window. Always good. Lovely food and every member of staff bent over backwards to make our stay memorable. We will be back. Thank you all.

Had lunch in Lawless's last week while I was passing through. As I was under time pressure I just opted for the bar food menu. I took a seat viewed the menu and after waiting for about fifteen minutes I had to go up to the bar and ask if I could place a food order, the waitress then came...

We stayed in the Lawless Hotel, Aughrim for the weekend as we wanted to do some walking in the area. We were greeted by a lovely warm fire in the reception, and a very friendly lady at reception. The room was lovely and warm throughout our stay with plenty of hot water for showers and lovely white towels. The service...

I just had to give this a 5 rating due to the best steak and chips I've maybe ever had. Check my other reviews, I love my steak so to say this is quite something. I ordered a 140z sirlion done rare. The steak was cooked to perfection on a chargrill and was juicy tender and full of flavour. This...

We went here for one night mid-week stay with an "escapes.ie" voucher. The hotel was busy for a Thursday night with many people in the bar and restaurant. The décor was very grand and the staff were friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The only downside was the blanket made the whole room seem dated. I think a duvet...

We stayed for two nights in the hotel and found all the staff very friendly. The breakfast was the best we have had in any hotel in a long time.It was cooked when you ordered it and not lying like you would see in most buffet breakfasts these days. The hotel is old (1700's) but very cosy and warm.Aughrim is a lovely...

After a very pleasant walk around Aughrim which is a pretty well looked after village we went into Lawless's for lunch. First impression was the seating is old & worn, you need to choose carefully where you sit as a lot of the chairs were badly stained. I had turkey & ham which was very good. The menu had a...
