We stayed here for the fleadh cheoil and the apartment we stayed in was just perfect. We hand a large bedroom that was spotlessly clean with a lovely comfortable bed. The kitchen dining room was large and Had everything we needed for cooking and dining. I could not recommend this place more highly and we will definitely be back.

We stayed at the Granary for a couple of nights for a wedding last month, and it is just a fantastic place. The house is stunning and Colm could not be more helpful or friendly. We had friends staying in the hotel itself who told us we'd definitely got the better deal. And such amazing value! If I ever have...

We had the most fantastic 3 night stay at homefarm, in fact our group took up all of the cottages. On arrival on the Friday the owner Colm met us to check in. Colm had very kindly let two of our friends check very early as they arrived from the airport. Colm was warm, hospitable and professional. He also was...

I have stayed at Markree Home Farm apartments or Granary three times while we are horseriding at the Markree Stables. They are spacious, well maintained and lovely and peaceful. The Castle changed ownership in September so perhaps the management were under a lot of stress at the time. I would highly recommend them.

My wife and I had our civil marriage ceremony in the Castle’s Chapel on 7th June 2014 and the night before a group of us stayed in one of the 3 bedroom cottages on the grounds. After a very busy day before our wedding we had a late check in just after 12am, which we had informed the staff about....

My family and some wedding guests stayed here in September 2013. The apartments were fantastic as they are very spacious and based on a self catering layout each with their own fully equipped kitchen. Laundry facilities are provided also as well as a sauna and hot tub. There is also an impressive decking area with barbeque facilities overlooking Markree Castle...

The "apartment" style rooms were very nice. They have a kitchen in the apartment which allows you to have the option of making your own meals. The castle grounds are very beautiful and it's lovely in the evening to walk around for picture taking. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The homefarm apartments are very spacious, and even though you're not in the castle, you enjoy everything the castle has to offer - and with more room and flexibility! From here we could make our own meals to eat in or take on a day trip, which saved us quite a bit of money. Being able to do our laundry...

We booked a 2 bed apartment for 2 people (thankfully). One bed in the ensuite room was so uncomfortable we couldn't sleep so we swapped to the other room which was much better. We would have been stuck had we been sharing. Plus side = Nice apartments, bedrooms were on the ground floors and a large open plan kitchen, dining...
