I have been to the Abbey before, and it is always of a high standard (except for the WiFi, but anyways). The Carvery lunch is always lovely, staff are helpful and the property is kept very well. Had lunch in the Carvery today. Selection was not overwhelming at all, yet it was good. I had the pan-fried chicken, which I...

After a long day we checked in late. Receptionist was quick and efficient and staff were friendly. The rooms were large and clean however extremely stuffy. There was air conditioning but it didn't work. Thankfully it was not near a busy road so we were able to leave a window open. I would stay here again as it is conveniently...

The room was obviously not cleaned properly as a bag tag from a...

“The older part of the hotel might not be so easy if you are disabled but the newer wing is fine, with a lift. The rooms facing the old ruined Abbey are usually quieter if there is a wedding.”
