I stayed here for a weekend for a get together. The hotel has been tastefully restored. Upon check-in the staff were courteous and most helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. I found the food in the function room to be of a high standard, as was the food in the restaurant for breakfast. Overall, I would recommend this...

Just spent a night here, would highly recommend it. All the staff were friendly and polite, the food in the bar was excellent, as was the service. We were there for a Kickboxing competition, nearby, which the staff knew about, and my son and a few mates were able to train in one of the smaller function rooms. Next time...

An unbelievable choice of food. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We had lunch in the bar on our...

We visit relations in Ireland and always go to the Shirley Arms for lunch. The bar area is welcoming and comfortable; the staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. I always have the seafood chowder which has been on the menu for a number of years…. it is rich and delicious. The menu offers a fairly wide choice and the overall...

Just back from a weekend stay in the Shirley arms hotel. There were 20 of us down for a golf weekend, the location was very handy and it's just an hours drive from Belfast. The hotel was spotless, food was excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful, they really are a credit to the hotel.

Arrived in Ireland for my brother's wedding and he had recommended this hotel for our stay. We can't thank him enough as The Shirley Arms is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The room was spacious, modern and very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We dined at the restaurant last night and the food...

My wife and I had a wedding in another hotel in Carrickmacross, but missed out on rooms there. We decided to stay in the Shirley Arms. What a great choice! After booking our original room, we later decided we needed two rooms as my parents were coming with us to look after our little boy. I asked for a couple...

I recently had the pleasure of staying in the Shirley Arms as part of a group for a Hen Party, we were checked in quickly and had booked a Murder Mystery package for later on that evening. The Murder Mystery was great craic, although it did take a while to 'get into it'. As for the hotel itself, it is...
